I really did not think our Post-American President would be this profoundly braindead:
Muslims “have the same right to practice their religion as everyone else in this country,” Obama said, according to a White House transcript. “That includes the right to build a place of worship and a community center on private property in Lower Manhattan, in accordance with local laws and ordinances.”

“Now, we must all recognize and respect the sensitivities surrounding the development of Lower Manhattan,” he said, according to the White House transcript. “The 9/11 attacks were a deeply traumatic event for our country. And the pain and the experience of suffering by those who lost loved ones is just unimaginable. So I understand the emotions that this issue engenders.”
That said, he added: “This is America. And our commitment to religious freedom must be unshakeable.”

I mean I knew that he certainly wanted to bow before the stealth jihadis in New York City and lend his support to their anti-American obscenity. I just thought that with approval ratings as bottom-of-the-barrel as he’s currently carrying that he might be smart enough to just keep his mouth shut for once.
Yeah, I was wrong.
This is not an issue of religious freedom. There’s no question that Muslims legally can erect a mosque. If they wanted to put up a giant statue of a middle finger and a billboard in Manhattan with this image from notorious offensive t-shirt company T-shirt Hell with the phrase “We’re going to keep hitting you dumbass dhimmis again and again until you submit to sharia law” then they’d legally be allowed to do so. (Perhaps that would be more obvious to the ignorant leftists shilling for this mosque?)
This is isn’t a question of can it’s a question of should. Not can a mosque be built so close to the ruins of the world trade center – thus signifying a Muslim conquest as all such mosque constructions do at the sites of warfare – but should a mosque be built. Obama says yes.
How hard is it for Barack Obama to simply say, “Muslims certainly have the right to build a mosque at the cite they have selected but they would do a far better job of fostering constructive dialogue and reaching out to non-Muslims by selecting another location”? That’s what a moderate, centrist, sane leader would do if he truly sought to bring the country together.
Henceforth Barack Obama is to be regarded with this designation: he is The Sharia Law President. This is a president who is more interested in supporting Muslims who endorse totalitarianism than comforting the families of the victims of 9/11. This is a president who lies on behalf of an ideology of sexual slavery.
I will say this: years from now historians will point to this night as the turning point in Barack Obama’s presidency. It is on this arrogant, brazen position that he has conclusively sacrificed any hope of a second term. But that is only if conservatives and independents will have the courage to stand up and fight the political war that the Sharia Law President and his Unholy Alliance of leftist and Islamofascist allies have declared.
