Border Patrol agents seized over 3,442 pounds of marijuana. Agents arrested 19 criminal aliens and 15 gang members. There were 5 rocking incidents.

San Diego Sector РBorder Patrol agents arrested two illegal aliens from Mexico near Chula Vista, California. Both subjects admitted to being Sure̱o 13 gang members and both had previously been removed from the United States.

San Diego Sector – Border Patrol agents seized 772 pounds of marijuana, a 2008 Chevrolet Silverado

with a flatbed trailer, and arrested a United States Citizen (USC) near San Clemente, California. Following a vehicle stop, a Border Patrol canine alerted to the trailer. A search of the trailer revealed the marijuana.

Tucson Sector – Border Patrol agents arrested an illegal alien from Mexico near Sonoita, Arizona. Records checks revealed the subject had a prior conviction for sexual assault in the State of Colorado and had previously been removed from the United States.

Tucson Sector – Border Patrol agents arrested an illegal alien from Mexico near Sunizona, Arizona. Records checks revealed the subject had an extensive criminal history, to include a conviction for rape in the State of Idaho and an arrest warrant for driving under the influence in the State of Arizona. The subject had also previously been removed from the United States.

Yuma Sector – Border Patrol agents located a runaway USC child near Quartzsite, Arizona. The child claimed to be lost; however, records checks revealed that he was a reported runaway from California. Local law enforcement authorities were contacted, took custody of the child, and returned him to his parents.

Buffalo Sector – Border Patrol agents arrested two illegal aliens from China near Rochester, New York. The subjects were in possession of approximately 500 fraudulent credit cards and multiple identification cards.

Del Rio Sector – A Border Patrol agent rescued a USC from a pond near Del Rio, Texas. The agent entered the pond and extracted the elderly man from the partially submerged vehicle which was filling with water. Emergency medical services personnel responded and evaluated the subject, who was released into the care of a family member.

El Centro Sector РBorder Patrol agents arrested an illegal alien from Mexico near Ocotillo, California. The subject admitted to being affiliated with the Compton Segundo gang in Los Angeles, California and the Barrio Azteca and Sure̱os gangs in prison. The subject had an extensive criminal history and had also previously been removed from the United States.

El Centro Sector – Border Patrol agents arrested an illegal alien from Mexico near Westmorland, California. The subject had a prior conviction for lewd and lascivious acts with a child less than fourteen years of age in the State of California and had previously been removed from the United States.

El Paso Sector – Border Patrol agents arrested an illegal alien from Mexico near El Paso, Texas. During processing, the subject admitted to being a Damu Bloods gang member based in Denver, Colorado. Records checks revealed the subject had an extensive criminal history and had previously been removed from the United States.

Laredo Sector – Border Patrol agents arrested an illegal alien from El Salvador near Laredo, Texas. During processing, the subject admitted to being a Mara Salvatrucha 13 (MS-13) gang member. Records checks revealed the subject had prior convictions for shooting at an inhabited dwelling, possession of a controlled substance, possession of a controlled substance while incarcerated, and had previously been removed from the United States.

Yuma Sector – Border Patrol agents arrested an illegal alien from Mexico near Kingman, Arizona. Records checks revealed the subject had a prior conviction for lewd and lascivious acts with a child less than fourteen years of age in the State of California, and had previously been removed from the United States.

El Centro Sector – Border Patrol agents arrested an illegal alien from El Salvador near Calexico, California. Records checks revealed the subject was a member of the 18th Street gang with an extensive criminal history. The subject had also previously been removed from the United States.

Marfa Sector – Border Patrol agents seized approximately 123 pounds of marijuana, a vehicle, and arrested a USC near Alpine, Texas. During processing, the subject admitted to being a member of the Barrio Azteca gang.

Rio Grande Valley Sector – Border Patrol agents seized 1,114 pounds of marijuana and a 1996 Dodge pick-up truck near Penitas, Texas. Agents witnessed several subjects loading bundles of suspected narcotics into the vehicle near the Rio Grande River. When agents approached, the subjects absconded into the brush. A search revealed the bundles of marijuana.

Tucson Sector РBorder Patrol agents arrested an illegal alien from Mexico near Douglas, Arizona. During processing, the subject admitted to being a Sure̱o gang member. Records checks revealed the subject had an extensive criminal history and had previously been removed from the United States.

Yuma Sector – Border Patrol agents arrested an illegal alien from El Salvador near Gila Bend, Arizona. Records checks revealed the subject had prior convictions for failure to register as a felony sex offender, indecent exposure with priors, and inflicting corporal injury to spouse.

Tucson Sector – Border Patrol agents recovered an abandoned Dodge pick-up truck that had been reported stolen and seized a Smith and Wesson .44 Special revolver that was found in the truck near Sells, Arizona.

Tucson Sector – Border Patrol agents arrested an illegal alien from Mexico near Three Points, Arizona. Records checks revealed the subject had a prior conviction for rape of a child in the State of Washington, and had previously been removed from the United States.

Tucson Sector – Border Patrol agents arrested an illegal alien from El Salvador near Hebbronville, Texas. The subject was identified as a member of the MS-13 gang and had previously been removed from the United States.

Tucson Sector – Border Patrol agents arrested an illegal alien from Mexico near Green Valley, Arizona. Records checks revealed the subject had prior convictions for negligent homicide, driving under the influence, and had previously been removed from the United States.

El Paso Sector – Border Patrol agents arrested an illegal alien from Mexico near El Paso, Texas. During processing, the subject admitted to being a member of the Border Brothers prison gang. Records checks revealed the subject had an extensive criminal history, including a conviction for felony burglary, and that he had previously been removed from the United States.

San Diego Sector – Border Patrol agents assisted local law enforcement authorities in the arrest of a suspect near San Clemente, California. The suspect fled the scene of a fatal traffic accident which resulted in the death of two people. The subject was located and apprehended by a Border Patrol agent and his canine partner.

Tucson Sector – Border Patrol agents arrested an illegal alien from Mexico near Nogales, Arizona. Records checks revealed the subject had prior convictions for involuntary manslaughter, driving under the influence, and manufacturing/delivering a controlled substance in the State of California. The subject had also previously been removed from the United States.

Tucson Sector – Border Patrol agents arrested an illegal alien from Mexico near Green Valley, Arizona. Records checks revealed the subject had a prior conviction for 3rd degree rape of a child in the State of Washington, and had previously been removed from the United States.

Tucson Sector – Border Patrol agents arrested an illegal alien from Mexico near Tucson, Arizona. Record checks revealed the subject had prior convictions for negligent homicide and driving under the influence in the State of Oregon. The subject had also previously been removed from the United States.

El Paso Sector – Border Patrol agents arrested an illegal alien from Mexico near Sunland Park, New Mexico. During processing, the subject admitted to being a Los Paisas prison gang member. Records checks revealed the subject had an extensive criminal history with an extensive criminal history and had previously been removed from the United States.

Laredo Sector – Border Patrol agents seized 1,040 pounds of marijuana, a Chevrolet flatbed truck, and arrested a USC at the traffic checkpoint near Hebbronville, Texas. The subject presented himself for inspection and a Border Patrol canine alerted to the vehicle. A search of the vehicle revealed the marijuana.

Rio Grande Valley Sector – Border Patrol agents arrested an illegal alien from Honduras near Brownsville, Texas. The subject was identified as an MS-13 gang member. Records checks revealed the subject had prior convictions for rape, assault and theft, and had previously been removed from the United States.

Tucson Sector – Border Patrol agents arrested an illegal alien from Mexico near Why, Arizona. Records checks revealed the subject had a prior conviction for lewd or lascivious acts with a child in the State of California, and had previously been removed from the United States.
