I just spent the better part of a Colorado summer Saturday reading the worst parts of something called The Affordable Health Choices Act of 2009. Purported to constitute health care reform, its thousand pages were introduced this past week by the chairmen of the three congressional House committees with jurisdiction over health policy.

Time to Defeat ObamaCare!

Your representatives need to hear from you this week as the liberal Majority continues to plow ahead with their rush to "reform" health care on Capitol Hill!   The legislation is hitting a few road blocks along the way, including written opposition from 40 Blue Dog (conservative) House Democrats and 22 additional Democrats.

Last week, the House Ways and Means Committee and the Senate Health, Education, Labor, and Pension (HELP) Committee voted on and approved their respective health care bills - that is, President Obama's proposed legislation for a government takeover of the American health care system.

June 13, 2009 - Chiriqui, Panama - Natural Solutions Foundation President, Maj. Gen. Bert Stubblebine (USA Ret) condemned the World Health Organization's Pandemic Declaration of June 11, 2009, stating:

"We are deeply concerned that WHO has set the so-called 'Swine Flu Pandemic Level' at 'Level 6' - the highest pandemic level in over 40 years. We are very suspicious of WHO's recent actions in 'changing the rules' of what constitutes a pandemic to force the low pathogenicity, genetically manipulated 'Swine Flu' into the 'pandemic' category.

The Democrats' most recent answer to the question of how they will pay for their trillion-dollar health-care reform was just announced by Ways and Means Chairman Charles Rangel. He wants to impose a surtax on incomes over $280,000, which would be a staggering blow to small businesses that create most jobs.

In the finest tradition of the car salesman who says “Here is my final offer but you have to take it right now,” House and Senate Democrats at the urging of President Obama want to push through legislation by the end of August that will transform Americans’ health care, probably irreversibly. Imagine; a complete overhaul of medical care in the United States, said to be about one-sixth of the total US economy, to be rushed through congress with virtually no review, analysis or deliberation by the Senate and House.
