Brothers converted by Muslim cleric who raised them leave him for dead.
KALLUR KOT, Pakistan, February 22 (Compass Direct News) - The four older Muslim brothers of a 26-year-old Christian beat him unconscious here earlier this month because he refused their enticements to convert to Islam, the victim told Compass.
Riaz Masih, whose Christian parents died when he was a boy, said his continual refusal to convert infuriated his siblings and the Muslim cleric who raised them, Moulvi Peer Akram-Ullah. On Feb. 8, he said, his brothers ransacked his house in this Punjab Province town 233 kilometers (145 miles) southwest of Islamabad.

It really is a fantastic documentary showing the amazing degree of cooperation and mutual admiration between the Muslims and the Nazis. Much more so than even those of us who are aware of it knew, and this features a lot of rare footage of Hitler and the Grand Mufti. Thank you to a large team of people who have been working for a long time to translate this and time stamp it, and to Henrik R Clausen who did the actual German to English translation.

To understand the danger posed by Islam, one must first understand its Islam. And I don't mean its spiritual appeal, because Islam is not a particularly spiritual belief system. It is not really much of a belief system at all, so much as it is a tool of social organization. Because Islam is far less concerned with what people believe, than with what they do. It is not so much of a religion, as a means of ordering behavior within a society along particular lines.

I've had this discussion numerous times over the years-at Starbucks, in college faculty offices, online with old friends who had "fallen away." So the subject wasn't novel; what was new, however, was the location and the speaker: the dining room of Hotel Laleh in Tehran, Islamic Republic of Iran, and a friendly Iranian studying to become a mullah (Islamic cleric).
I was in Iran for the fourth annual conference on Mahdism in August 2008. Mahdism is the Islamic belief in al-Mahdi, "the rightly guided one" who will come before the end of time to make the entire world Muslim. Both major branches of Islam, Sunni and Shi'i, hold this Mahdist belief, despite his absence from the Qur'an.
