The NEFA Foundation has released a new report by NEFA Senior Investigator Evan Kohlmann titled "Inside As-Sahaab: The Story of Ali al-Bahlul and the Evolution of Al-Qaida's Propaganda." The report is based upon previously unseen evidence presented during the recent Guantanamo Bay military commissions trial of Yemeni national Ali Hamza Ahmad Suliman al-Bahlul.

Introduction

In the wake of the 11/26 Mumbai terror attacks, there is a growing fear in Pakistan that the Indian Air Force may attack militant hideouts inside Pakistan, in a manner similar to the U.S. missile attacks on Taliban and Al-Qaeda safe havens within Pakistan's tribal districts on the Pakistan-Afghanistan border.

Somali Jihadists Call on American and European Muslims to Join Jihad in Somalia And Warn the West: "We're Gonna Exterminate You All, Inshallah"
 
In a 30 minute video posted recently on Islamist websites, the Somali jihad group Shabab Al-Mujahideen called on Muslims living in the U.S. and Europe to come to Somalia and join the jihad there. The video is in Arabic, Somali and English.

Last Wednesday evening, a group of Islamist operatives carried out a complex terror operation in the Indian city of Mumbai. The attack was not complex because of the weapons used or its size, but in the apparent training, multiple methods of approaching the city and excellent operational security and discipline in the final phases of the operation, when the last remaining attackers held out in the Taj Mahal hotel for several days.
