Being a Muslim from Pakistan living in Middle East myself, I am and have been at the center of the conflicts that exist between different theories about the so called "Jihad" by Al-Qaeda and Taleban that exist in the Muslim world. What Muslims should understand is that military is not deployed in Iraq and Afghanistan to kill Muslims but to kill those who are killing Muslims. Are these "Jihadists" going to be rewarded by Allah for bombing schools and markets and spilling blood of thousands of innocent people? They are in fact the real problem and if west wont fight them, Muslim states themselves will have to. The exact same thing is happening in Pakistan right now. A Muslim army is executing a full scale operation against Taliban, as they realize that between Muslims there can be a right side and a wrong side, an oppressor and a liberator. I am not saying that US govt. didn't have internal political and strategic agendas when they started attacked Iraq and Afghanistan, but that's US govt only. The people of US who support this war and the brave soldiers on ground risking their lives everyday have nothing to gain out of this agenda and they are just out there fighting for Muslims against the oppressors of Muslims and the enemies of humanity. Blood spilled of innocent is always condemnable, whether its of a Muslim, a Christian or a Jew. Being a Muslim, I refuse to admit that Al-Qaeda or Taliban have any right to call themselves Muslims after the horrible crimes of humanity that they have committed.
