In the case of the president, he is now both. How america voted for someone intent on tearing the country apart I don't know. What I do know is that these followers are fanatics. Even if all the conservative or traditional americans get together and stop all the socialist efforts Obama is shoving down the throat of america, it will not be enough. the followers of Obama are like cultists and have already taken a drink of the coolaid that is laced with poison. they are willing to kill for their leader and willing to die for him. the country can burn down around their ears and they will cheer his name as it leaves them with nothing. Soon a second american civil war will take place and it will be what determines the future of that country. all the people cheering for or against the politicians mean nothing because Obama is intent on forcing everything his way and is already taking measures to control and monitor like a dictator with his own secret police. plenty of americans don't believe that and others are afraid of that. I too remember a long-ago, very different America. My grandmother was born five years after Lincoln's death and lived to see the space shots of the 60's. My 4th great-grandfather fought in the American Revolution at the age of 14. My family has sent members to every war this country has been embroiled in and I now have a grandon who is enlisting. God help him. This is an America so different than I knew that I hardly recognize it. I go to the supermarket and walk for ten minutes before I hear my native language. I am amazed that friends and even younger family members embrace the war cry of the new President who clearly stated that he wanted to "fundamentally" change this country.
