Armando........Do you think there may have been a very good reason the majority of our ancestors left Europe?
People, in general, are not inclined to change their circumstances unless their lives are intolerable. My ancestors left Austria-Hungary because of no jobs, poverty, sickness and impending war. Thank God they left or I wouldn't be here to present a counter point to your narrow and misguided analogies on the carefree joys of Socialism.
I import products from Germany and Sweden that are critical components to my companies manufacturing process. I can assure you that our customers don't have many nice things to say about European "holidays" that cause month long delays and prevent them from recieving the products they have ordered.
Capitalism, free markets and individual liberties are the only way the US will ever compete again in the global marketplace. The downfall of our society has been carefully orchestrated by the Bilderberg Group, Trilateral Commission and the Council on Foreign Affairs. They now have a puppet to sell their agenda, though even his supporters are starting to see through his charm and smooth demeanor.
It is now up to real American patriots to save our country before it is too late. I can only hope that each and every one of our military personnel uphold their vow to defend The Constitution against all enemies foreign and DOMESTIC! - Proud American

Look around. You might work 80 hours a week for years on end and still never own a home or retire. Do you call that "freedom"?

The Right won't be satisfied until our children are working 20 hour days in dirty factories and our elderly are dragging their half-dead starving carcasses to the soup kitchens for a shot at some bone soup. Then they'll tell us what they tell us now which is that "no one is starving in America." They'd love to see us clawing each others eyes out, licking our chops just for the chance to work for rotten scraps. The proponents of social Darwinism will never give up until they've made their sick capitalist utopia a reality. Therefore we, the People, can never give up. Get off the couch and fight them today or be prepared to fight for your very life come 20 years from now. - Hilary Smith

I find it interesting that nobody wants to go the European way or even consider it. They get health care, have better food, live longer, get long vacations, enjoy life. Heck, they even invented Democracy. What's so bad about the European way?
The fact people can't even evaluate their system and learn from it because its not American is ridiculous.
Did we forget the majority of our ancestors came from there? - Armando Martinez

The "dictatorship of the proletariat" or workers' state is a term employed by Marxists

The "dictatorship of the proletariat" or workers' state is a term employed by Marxists that refers to what they see as a temporary state between the capitalist society and the classless, stateless and moneyless communist society. During this transition period, "the state can be nothing but the revolutionary dictatorship of the proletariat."[1] The term does not refer to a concentration of power by a dictator, but to a situation where the proletariat (the working class) would hold power and replace the current political, economic and social system controlled by the bourgeoisie (the propertied class). In short, the "dictatorship of the proletariat" would replace the current "dictatorship of the bourgeoisie"; the crucial distinction being that while the bourgeoisie is by definition a minority, the proletariat is, similarly, always the majority. Many Marxists refer to this transitional stage as socialism or "workers' democracy".
