The tax on carbon emissions in the US will simply kill US manufacturing and drive it away to China, India or other underdeveloped countries. Environmental controls and energy efficiency are much WORSE in those countires so the same production will generate massively more polution than the tightly control US industry. This is a lose lose bill, it will kill american manufacturing, kill jobs and worsen the environment.
