Fact eight of the 156 signatures on our us constitution were by Iligal imigrants!!!!!!!!! Yes eight of our forefathers where iligal Imigrants . That means they were not born in the US. You can find this at www.usconstitution.net and clic on the signatures and there you will see who they represented date and place of birth . and eight of them where not born in the US. - lolobond

illegal aliens are just not a problem, they are like a turmite. and i don't agree at all that they are heros. if they were real heroes, they wud choose the right path to come to USA in the first place . not only that , they just choose an easy way out thruougt their life time. they come here illegaly , because they are not enough competent and educated , and then they choose another easy way by staying in USA by hook or crook. then what abt. those people who actually choose to come here and maitian their legal status , and fight to get their immigrant status and here , or are prepared to go back home. what about those who take the loans in their home countries and become students , just to maintain their legal status ?? while they are unaware of the outcome , and know they do face a risk of going back to their own countiers and will have to pay back the loans . i wud say these people are the real heroes as they choose to work hard from the beginning, first by studying , and then choose to face the challange in statiyng in the country while maitianing their legal status.
rather than illegal aliens , who are just a short cut taker in their lives. first they didn't work enough to get a good education, and then now they want to steal the jobs from the poor americans ??
i feel they shuld be rooted out to at least benefit 11 million amreiacn , who are poor and and are jobless.
these illegal aliens are just cowards, they never try to face anything.. they are just self centerd .
to be honest i just feel they are nothing but unwanted guests in our soil..... - rM

It's a shame that there are people who can be so ignorant about the illegal immigrant issue. I understand that a portion of the earnings that illegals earn may be sent back to their home countries. As far as "anchor babies" riding on the backs of tax payers dollars- excuse me, do you realize that illigal aliens ARE tax payers as well? Not to mention they dont get a tax return because they don't have a social to claim it. So in reality, all of that money collected in their paychecks is kept by the IRS. Is that information plastered by the media? Of course not. They want you to all become biased to the "criminal" illegal alien for stealing the jobs lazy americans wouldn't bother to touch. From a human standpoint, any person that risks their life to provide for their families well being is heroic. They want their children to grow up in a country where they are not limited by their financial class. I couldn't bear to tear apart a family just because Immigration Services couldn't provide a visa or residance card sooner than 15 years. Yeah a little late by then. - Cirzy

You act like every immigrant that comes here is basically a criminal. But you dont mention the fact that their the ones doing all the hard work. When you need your roof fixed, are you going to pay thousands of dollars to a white man, who would take months to fix it? Or would you hire a mexan that would charge you far less for better work that they can finish in two days?
Such lazy, and selfish americans. - BritishChic

They don't care

The government doesn't care what you think. The courts don't care, The legislative branch don't care and a large portion of the American people don't care. If they did this would not being going on. It's about as ridiculous as Al Franken. The government is being run by a bunch ignorant politicians elected by ignorant Americans.

Your far in the minority sad to say. The State of Michigan has Welfare applications written in Arabic and Spanish on their web site. You go to work everyday so millions of Americans can sit home and watch Oprah while miilions of illegal immigrants have education, health care, roof over their heads and dinner on the table. What a country huh. You have a Democratic Congress with the possibilty of a liberal President, good luck. - RichieRich

"...and that laws against illegal immigration need to be enforced."

That says it all!

I can’t say the ILLEGAL ALIENS are completely to blame for the shape of our economy, but they are a BIG part of the problem. The ILLEGAL ALIENS send BILLIONS upon BILLIONS out of this Country every year, money we will NEVER see again. Does this help our economy?

How about the BILLIONS the American taxpayers fork out for the ANCHOR BABIES, the schooling of them, the medical care and the list goes on, and on, and on.

How about the MILLIONS upon MILLIONS paid to jail ILLEGAL ALIENS for the crimes, then the cost to deport them. Does this help our economy?

Then you have these so called activist groups that want AMNESTY for these ILLEGAL ALIENS. It would be absolute suicide for this Country if AMNESTY were granted to the 20 million or so ILLEGAL ALIENS. We have more and more people out of work everyday and they want to add another 20 million to this Country? I say, “NO”!

If AMNESTY were ever granted to these 20 million ILLEGAL ALIENS, you can bet big money that 3 years from now, there would be ANOTHER 3-5 million ILLEGAL ALIENS demonstrating on our soil for AMNESTY.

An end MUST come to this illegal immigration. The best tool we have so far is E-Verify. It MUST be used on ALL businesses and Government Social Services. EVERY employee must be checked! If they are illegal, they are to be dismissed and deported!

I believe it is time for all 50 States to pass a State law, like Arizona, Oklahoma, Mississippi, Missouri, South Carolina and a few others. It is time for these ILLEGAL ALIENS to go back to their home Country and get out of this Country. The problems they are causing will not go away until the ILLEGAL ALIENS are out of this Country. I think that is plain to see.
