I appreciate your thoughtful comments and request for more information. Here are a few, and there is alot more.
Also visit websites that are managed by scientist and weather experts, and feel free to email me directly at

Global "Warming" is certainly political, since legislation occurs regarding this issue, as seen here:

Do some research please.

While I try to read most of this article without comment (you have some facts sorta right - again you too, like an extreme environmentalist bend the facts to suit your agenda) this comment almost made me laugh: "Other inconvenient facts ignored by the activists: Carbon dioxide is a nonpolluting gas, essential for plant photosynthesis. Higher concentrations of CO2 in the atmosphere produce bigger harvests." Why don't you try sitting in a tank of CO2 and see what happens? CO2 is great for plants, that's true, but what about humans? When CO2 levels were much higher, we weren't around, instead big bugs dominated. I don't know about you, but I rather not have a giant, disease carrying mosquitos popping up again. That may be far fetched, but it is still one of the many consequences of increased CO2.

Also, you actually made an excellent point for global warming "alarmists": "For example, recently generated NASA data enabled scientists to finally understand the Gulf Stream warming mechanism and its effect on European weather. Such data will allow us to improve our models, resulting in better seasonal forecasts." It's a bit ironic, but scientists studying the gulf stream have also conlcuded that global warming may soon cause the Gulf stream to shut down. Since the ice caps are melting the ocean's salt water has been "freshening". This freshening may interrupt or even shut down the thermohaline - a massive wordwide current that powers much of the earth's climate - by disrupting the up-welling and down-welling process that pulls denser, cold water down deep into the ocean and lwarm water up to the surface. Without the thermohaline the gulf stream will collapse and that means the warmth that is currently blown to Europe will cease to exist and Europe - now this is ironic - will cool by an estimated (low estimate by the way) 10 degrees withing weeks. Alarming? Yes. Does that make me an alarmist? No. Anyone can do a little research to find that indeed, this is not only a climate "model" but that many scientist believe that this has occured in the past, causing previous ice ages. So yes, don't worry about the earth warming, she has her own ways of trumping humans.

Oh and by the way, calling most environmentalists "global warming alarmist" is not only darragatory, but simply ignorant and foolish. You can be "right" and be concerned with the environment. We need to stop walking lock step with any political party. We all need to do a little research and thinking for ourselves. - Chelsie
