For all of Barack Obama's trouble telling the truth, he always feels free to speak his mind whenever he is in San Francisco. In April, Obama told a room full of wealthy San Franciscans what he thought of rural Americans, calling them bitter people who cling to guns and religion. Now, in a recently discovered audiotape from his meeting with the San Francisco Chronicle editorial board, Obama admits he wants to bankrupt the coal industry, and that his energy policies will cause consumers' electricity rates to "skyrocket."

As  was reading this, I thought of the unknown effects this has on weather patterns on our planet. This should impact all climate change models.

A magnetic portal will open, linking Earth to the sun 93 million miles away. Alaska's glaciers grew this year, after shrinking for most of the last 200 years. The reason?  Global temperatures dropped over the past 18 months. The global mean annual temperature has been declining recently because the solar wind thrown out by the sun has retreated to its smallest extent in at least 50 years. This temperature downturn was not predicted by the global computer models, but had been predicted by the sunspot index since 2000.
