surface_tempThe American people need to join in and call for full transparency in the deceptive practices of all organizations involved.

A new research paper from Joe D'Aleo and Anthony Watts exposes gross errors in the surface temperature record where government policy making is based in regards to legislation to combat "global warming".

The paper, titled "Surface Temperature Records: Policy Driven Deception?", fires holes in key findings using peer reviewed data.

From SPPI "Authors veteran meteorologists Joe D'Aleo and Anthony Watts analyzed temperature records from all around the world for a major SPPI paper, Surface Temperature Records - Policy-driven Deception?

The mainstream mediasphere and the alarmist blogosphere has been ignoring or dismissing the dominos of global warming collapsing as the fraudulent machinations of the IPCC are exposed, NOAA and NASA and CRU data manipulation is revealed and their heroes Michael Mann and Phil Jones are being investigated, and this incredible winter unfolds in many areas of the United States and Europe and Asia.

China has had the coldest weather since 1971. Europe and Russia experienced brutal, deadly cold and heavy snows. Snow and cold surprised delegates to the UN Copenhagen global warming conference and followed Obama and congress back to DC.

The Week That Was (February 6, 2010) Brought to you by SEPP (www.SEPP.org)

Quote of the Week

"If the IPCC wasn't there, why would anyone be worried about climate change?" Rajendra Pachauri, Chairman of the UN Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change, Science, February 5, 2010

THIS WEEK:

The Washington region is being hit by another major snow storm which will probably exceed the snow of December 19, 2009 that forced President Obama to leave the global warming conference in Copenhagen early. This is the first time since record keeping started (before 1880) that two storms of such magnitude have hit the region during one winter. Already some localities are reporting the largest snowfall ever recorded. Blizzard conditions have been declared for the city of Washington, DC. Mail service was stopped. The weight of the snow caused the roof of the Dulles Jet Center to collapse. The Center houses mostly private jets at Dulles Airport. Amazingly, no injuries have been reported.

Disclosing the Real Risks of Climate Change Print E-mail

SEC says companies must disclose risks due to climate change. Seize the opportunity.

We are not weighing in on the climate debate. We are not opining on whether the world's climate is changing, at what pace or due to what causes, Securities and Exchange Commission Chairman Mary Shapiro insisted on announcing the SEC's new "interpretive guidance" on climate change.

The Commission's two Republican members objected that the Obama Administration was using the Commission to promote its global warming and renewable energy agenda (along with the EPA, NASA, Defense and Interior Departments and others). It's true, but irrelevant.

Judged simply by their content, it would be easy to misidentify the speaker who uttered the following quotes:

"The effects of global warming have touched every continent. Drought and deserts are spreading, while from the other floods and hurricanes unseen before the previous decades have now become frequent."

Al Gore perhaps?
