Blackhawk helicopters accomplish our nation's missions every day. Now, Idaho National Laboratory's Center for Advanced Energy Studies (CAES) is supporting a new kind of Blackhawk to develop energy solutions.
Researchers from the Blackhawk Project LLC are testing and monitoring a new Blackhawk Tilt Rotor (TR-10) Vertical Axis Wind Turbine (VAWT) recently installed at CAES. This wind system, developed by Blackhawk, represents what could be a significant evolution in wind energy technology.

Senator Boxer announced this week that the Senate EPW Committee will begin hearings on the Kerry-Boxer global warming cap-and-trade bill on Oct. 27. The hearings will kick off with a number of Obama administration officials testifying before the Committee, likely to include Energy Secretary Steven Chu, U.S. EPA Administrator Lisa Jackson, Transportation Secretary Ray LaHood and Federal Energy Regulatory Commission Chairman Jon Wellinghoff.
This week the Senate Energy Committee heard from CBO on the costs associated with the Waxman-Markey House passed climate bill and the news wasn't good for American jobs.

On Monday, October 12th, I was extremely privileged to spend time with Lord Christopher Monckton and his wife, Lady Juliet Monckton. You never know the unexpected ways in which God will bless you. In passing the evening with this exceptional couple, I was doubly blessed not only by the pleasure of their excellent company but also by their clear insight into matters of great import--matters that have the potential utterly to destroy the sovereignty of the United States. This entry recounts what Lord and Lady Monckton shared with myself and others over the course of a pre-lecture dinner conversation. His Lordship also worked a portion of this information into his talk at the University of Wisconsin-Madison later that evening.

None dare call it fraud
What if we applied corporate standards to the "science" that is driving global warming policy?
Imagine the reaction if investment companies provided only rosy stock and economic data to prospective investors; manufacturers withheld chemical spill statistics from government regulators; or medical device and pharmaceutical companies doctored data on patients injured by their products.
