Pay close attention over the next few months for you are about to see how Democrats lose a war.

History will be made as the world's only super power, led by a socialist President and a socialist controlled Congress, feed our soldiers into a meat-grinder in order to turn public opinion against the war. As soon as a sufficient percentage of Americans declare their distaste for the war in Afghanistan, Obama will declare the war cannot be won - thus -- creating an excuse to bring US troops home from Afghanistan in defeat and disgrace.

So far, Obama has rejected every single option placed before him by the military.

Think about this for a moment: Obama knows absolutely nothing about the military. He knows absolutely nothing about military tactics.

In the annals of poor political judgment, the Obama administration's decision to try 9/11 mastermind Khaled Sheikh Mohammed and four other Guantanamo Bay-based terrorist detainees in a New York City federal court may yet rank as a blunder without peer in American history.

The administration's announced motive is to prove that civilian courts can be trusted to dispense justice to America's deadliest enemies.

The first year of Obama has seen America retreating on all fronts. The country that once pressed back the Russian bear, has instead pulled up the missile shield and sent the signal to Moscow that the former Soviet Republicans can no longer count on US aid to insure their independence. On China, Obama has switched to a policy of "Strategic Reassurance", which is a fancy way of retreating and saying "Nice Doggie", without actually even bothering to hunt for the stick. Not only has Obama become the first President not to meet with the Dalai Lama, but what "Strategic Reassurance" really does is hang out Taiwan and Japan on the line, assuring China that America will not interfere with its expanding sphere of political and military dominance.

As I watched the aftermath of the shootings at Ft. Hood recently I, like so many other Americans, was aghast at the carnage wrought by America's greatest enemy... "Political Correctness."  Say what you will but when the facts all come out, I am convinced the culprit will be none other than political correctness in our government, and in our military, in our religious community, in our educational community, and yes, even in the communities, large or small, where the average American lives.
