It's Just a Heat Wave

E-mail Print PDF

The most surprising thing about the current heat wave affecting much of the United States is that no global warming charlatan is claiming that it is the result of carbon dioxide (CO2) emissions. Since the late 1980s, Americans were assailed with the global warming hoax until, in November 2009, the release of emails between the trolls ginning up false “climate models” were exposed.

These days the term “climate change” is used as a substitute for “global warming”, but fewer of us are fooled by this. Al Gore is planning a last-ditch effort in September to revive the hoax, but that will fail.

New GOP Contemplates Suicide by Open Caucus in 2012

Once “Republicans” are sold on “Democracy,” we really do have only one side of the political aisle and one political party.

From Article IV – Section IV of the U.S. Constitution – “The United States shall guarantee to every state in this union a republican form of government, and shall protect each of them against invasion; and on application of the legislature, or of the executive (when the legislature cannot be convened) against domestic violence.”

Obama, End of NASA Space Shuttle Program, and His Muslim Agenda

“There are in fact two things, science and opinion; the former begets knowledge, the latter ignorance.”  Hippocrates (c460-c.377 BCE)

My heart bleeds today...  It’s sad to see a giant, a champion in the world, the world superpower being brought down to her knees, brick by brick, by those who are supposed to nurture and protect her, by those who were supposed to bring improvements and make her stronger.

First God Created Idiots: Practice for Creating Politicians

E-mail Print PDF

Back in 1865, Mark Twain said, “First God created idiots. That was practice for his next handiwork.  Then He created politicians.”

As our country watches the countdown to our debt calamity, I sit in my office daily listening to the talking heads, the interviews with financial know- it-alls and the rhetoric from politicians. Not only is it mind-numbingly frustrating, but it’s downright stupid beyond understanding.

If Debt Is the Enemy Then There Are Traitors Among Us

E-mail Print PDF

The so-called “debt ceiling default crisis” continues to loom, with enough Progressive-Leftist demagoguery in the air to choke a horse, or, in this case, kill an economy. I roll my eyes at the term “debt ceiling default crisis” because the honest man – an increasingly rare species in federal government – understands that there can only be a crisis should President Obama choose to create one. That said, Republicans, TEA Partiers and Conservatives are in danger of doing the right thing in refusing to enable more debt, but losing the public relations war to what amounts to the traitors among us due to chronic messaging impotency.

THE MAN OF THE IMAM

In the witch-hunt of the XXIst century, which started at the onset of this month (July 2011), a scandal has erupted, reminiscent of Medieval witch-hunts, which, had it happened in the Middle Ages, it would have likely ended at the mast fire.

The scandal started with the alleged corruption and criminality in regard with the News of the World and London’s Metropolitan Police.  However, the actual scandal was nurtured not by the public but, surprise, this time, by members of the British Parliament, the BBC and the left-wing media going for Murdoch’s jugular.

The Military Industrial Complex: The Enemy from Within

E-mail Print PDF

“Of all the enemies to public liberty war is, perhaps, the most to be dreaded because it comprises and develops the germ of every other. War is the parent of armies; from these proceed debts and taxes … known instruments for bringing the many under the domination of the few.… No nation could preserve its freedom in the midst of continual warfare.”—James Madison

“When a nation becomes obsessed with the guns of war, social programs must inevitably suffer. We can talk about guns and butter all we want to, but when the guns are there with all of its emphasis you don't even get good oleo. These are facts of life.”— Martin Luther King Jr.

If there is any absolute maxim by which the federal government seems to operate, it is that the American taxpayer always gets ripped off, and Americans would do well to keep that in mind as Congress and the White House debate whether or not to raise the debt ceiling from its current high of $14.3 trillion. For one thing, the grandstanding by both parties over health care costs and Social Security is nothing more than a convenient distraction from the glaring economic truth that at the end of the day, it’s not the sick, the elderly or the poor who are stealing us blind and pushing America towards bankruptcy. It’s the military industrial complex (the illicit merger of the armaments industry and the Pentagon) that President Dwight D. Eisenhower warned us against more than 50 years ago and which has come to represent perhaps the greatest threat to the nation’s fragile infrastructure today.
