A book review: Part 1  If you remember on the 10^th anniversary of 9/11, not one single network mentioned that Islamic terrorists killed 3,000 innocent people. 

It’s like ignoring the 400 pound gorilla in the kitchen. If we don’t talk about it, perhaps it would vanish on its own.

An old friend recently wrote me with these comments about the Tea Party and the Occupy Wall Street demonstrators: 

“…non-violent protesters are being arrested for no reason. As for the … the tea party, the number one thing wrong with their mentality is that they are selfishly cruel; not giving a damn about the downtrodden of our society. They represent the worst of all human failings, narrow-minded ignorance.”

When early humans got the hang of walking upright, the first thing many did was to walk out of Africa and, eventually, to all parts of the Earth from Asia to Europe, to North and South America, proliferating into different races.

Always restless to see what was over the horizon, they populated continents. There will shortly be seven billion of us on planet Earth, an extraordinary number and one with considerable consequences regarding issues of food, water, housing, transportation, trade, and energy.

In the glorious spirit of erstwhile Protest Warriors and Communists for Kerry, disorganized multitudes of pro-capitalist miscreants and saboteurs are getting organized again! Meet Liberate Wall Street - a loose coalition of the willing to mock, satirize, and expose the leftist absurdities of the Wall Street Occupussies.

The Occupussies demand free lunch in exchange for a total Big Government takeover of their lives. That would have been funny if that didn't involve the takeover of everyone else's lives as well - including yours and mine. They are too misguided and too misinformed to realize that "A government big enough to give you everything you need, is a government big enough to take away everything that you have."

Photoshopping is slang for the digital editing of photos. In photoshopping, images are edited and manipulated to create an illusion or deception. 

Helicopter Shark Mohammed

The ‘Helicopter_Shark’ was a famous example of photo manipulation in which two photographs were digitally combined to give the impression that a shark was leaping from the water to attack a military helicopter. Modern Islamic apologetics go to similar lengths to manipulate the biography of Mohammed even adding elements not in the foundational texts. A typical example of Islamic ‘helicopter shark’ is this story:

The “October 2011” movement organizer Dennis Trainor tells me that he believes capitalism is “homicidal” and that the U.S. needs a revolution. “This is not a reform movement,” he said. He is part of the illegal occupation of Freedom Plaza in Washington, D.C. The “October 2011” movement is not part of, but endorses the “Occupy Wall Street” movement that began several weeks ago.
