On November 6, 2008, in light of Barack Obama's election as forty-forth president of the United States, the Global Research in International Affairs (GLORIA) Center and the U.S. Chamber of Commerce held a panel discussion on the prospects for U.S-Israeli relations under the Obama administration. Those participating were Prof. Barry Rubin, Ambassador Daniel Ayalon, Ambassador Dan Halpern, and Zvi Rafiah. Brief biographies can be found at the end of the article.

New Census Data: From 2005 to 2007, New York, New Jersey Counties Rank Highest in Property Tax on Homeowners; Louisiana Parishes Rank Lowest
American Community Survey Data Now Includes Three-Year Averages in Places with Populations Greater than 20,000
Washington, DC- New data released today by the Census Bureau show that over a three-year period (2005, 2006 and 2007) average homeowners in New York and New Jersey counties paid the most in property taxes while those in Louisiana parishes paid the least.

Today the Washington Times reports: "One of President-elect Barack Obama's top immigration advisers [T. Alexander Aleinikoff] oversaw a Clinton-era program that awarded citizenship to thousands of convicted criminals..."
That's not the half of it. Citizenship USA, the program in question, was rooted in the Industrial Areas Foundation, a Saul Alinsky group.
Appearing on his radio show in 2000, David P. Schippers Former Chief Counsel, House Judiciary Committee, told Glenn Spencer, that, had he more time, the corruption of Citizenship USA would have been an added article of impeachment of Bill Clinton.
Add to that Obama's close ties to the subversive SEIU (see last night's Dobbs report) and we have a picture of the Obama administration as one prepared to make a frontal assault on the sovereignty of the United States. "Barack Obama represents the greatest threat to the United States of America since the Civil War," said Glenn Spencer of APR. "Brainwashed Americans have just voted to commit national suicide," he added.

Doing the kind of investigative reporting we should expect from the major media, a financial research and consulting firm has released a major analysis of the "credit crisis" that concludes that the claims made by Treasury Department Secretary Henry Paulson and Federal Reserve chairman Ben Bernanke to justify a socialist takeover of the financial industry were demonstrably false.

The same people who forced lenders to make bad loans, then allowed bad mortgage based securities to be sold to unsuspecting investors who leveraged the portfolio 30 to 1, ending in the biggest financial crisis in world history, now want control of the U.S. auto industry.Before they raised a single penny in play money to bailout yet another disgraced American industry, liberals at the epicenter of the problem like Democrat Chris Dodd, were calling for the beheading of motor company CEOs, proving only that even the promise of taxpayer funds is being used to grab federal grasp and control of once private industries at a record pace.
