Democrats Scramble To Save #1 Donor – The Teachers

E-mail Print PDF

America’s BIGGEST political donor is not corporate America, bankers, Insurers or Wall Street. It is the National Education Association, which gave over $56 million in campaign donations in the 2008 election cycle alone, and American Federation of Teachers, which gave over $12 million in 2008. Combined, these two teachers unions gave over $68 million in 2008, ALL of it to Democrats.

Still trying to figure out why Democrats are desperate to save the public sector unions?

Democrats scramble to prop up public sector unions not on behalf of teachers or students, but rather on their own behalf, as the NEA is the single largest political donor in America today and they give almost 100% to DEMOCRATS! In short, without millions in campaign funding from the national teachers union, teachers would be better off, but Democrats would be in DEEP trouble!

For the Sake of Americans and the Muslim in America...

Next Panel Must Hear Activists

While watching yesterday's hearing on Capitol Hill on the radicalization of American Muslims, I could not help being moved by the painful testimony of Melvin Bledsoe. His son, Carlos Bledsoe (Abdulhakim Mujahid Muhammad), is the young man who murdered one person and wounded another at an army recruitment center in Arkansas after coming under the influence radical Islamic ideology. Bledsoe's testimony itself was enough to warrant the calling of such a hearing, despite the hysterical cries predictably heard from the CAIR, MAS, MPAC and ISNAs of the world and their friends in the left-leaning political class.

Government Shutdowns and Death Threats...Bring It On

Maybe you’ve heard this one. What do you get when fourteen Democrat Senators go AWOL from their jobs in Wisconsin? You get fiscal responsibility, the tools to balance an out-of-control budget and a boatload of evidence that the Progressive Left is prone to violence and thuggery over process. Thank you very much and goodnight. Be sure to tip your waiters, waitresses and bartenders on the way out. You’ve been great.

Tears Help Radical Rep. Ellison Deflect Scrutiny of His Own Record

Rep. Keith Ellison (D-Minn.) got some headlines for breaking down in tears during the Homeland Security Committee hearing on Thursday, but another witness, Abdirizak Bihi, Director of the Somali Education and Social Advocacy Center in Minneapolis, offered something more newsworthy—an indictment of Ellison himself.

Although he didn’t identify Ellison by name, Bihi’s criticism of local leaders, religious and political, was seen as partly a reference to Ellison being an obstacle to finding out what happened to 20 Somali young people who had disappeared from Ellison’s congressional district and showed up in Somalia as terrorists.

NPR exec bashes Americans with Muslim donors

"NPR executives and staff aren't bashful about biting the hands that feed them -- the hands of the American taxpayer." - Mike Baker, political consultant

After practically bringing down President Barack Obama's pride and joy political organization ACORN with the help of his partner Hannah Giles, citizen journalist James O'Keefe, 26, released a new video that may just end the leftist stranglehold on National Public Radio.

Huffington Post Whitewashes Al-Jazeera’s Benefactor

E-mail Print PDF

The Huffington Post, supposedly a template for new media reporting on current events and world hot spots, has published a whitewash of the dictatorship in Qatar. The author, Shabina S. Khatri, says protests against the regime are going nowhere because the people enjoy good living standards and don’t face a crime problem. What’s more, the Emir of Qatar, who runs the dictatorship there, is “benevolent,” she says.

Officially, the Emir, Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani, is known as “His Highness.”

This Huffington Post story gives new meaning to the term “lapdog press.”

Who is to blame for $4.00 a gallon gas? How about $10.00 a gallon?

E-mail Print PDF

“At this point, it’s almost certainly too late to manage a transition to sustainability on a global or national scale, even if the political will to attempt it existed, which it clearly does not. Our civilization is in the early stages of the same curve of decline and fall as so many others have followed before it.  What likely lies in wait for us is a long, uneven decline into a new Dark Age from which, centuries from now, the civilizations of the future will gradually emerge.”

Who can we blame for $4.00 a gallon?  Answer: every last one of us cotton pickin’ American gas guzzling 8-cylinder SUV drivers, trucks, trains, boats and planes!  We burn 20 million barrels a day in the United States.  The world’s humans burn 84 million barrels daily.   That’s 29.9 billion barrels of oil annually worldwide!  Whopping carbon footprint!  Hey!  Did you think a finite resource like ‘endless oil’ could go on forever?  That’s like sucking on an ‘endless milkshake’ straw at the local diner!  It eventually runs dry and you suck on air.
