The deal for the return of convicted terrorist Samir Kuntar, four Hizbullah men captured in the 2006 Second Lebanon War and a number of corpses in return for the remains of kidnapped IDF soldiers Eldad Regev and Ehud Goldwasser comes at an opportune moment for the Hizbullah leadership.

Anyone familiar with the threat posed by the advancing American Fifth Column understands all too clearly that our Constitution is under attack. Whether it is the insistence that the Constitution is a living document meant to conform to the will of the times or the institution of political correctness - a shadow set of laws effectively usurping the laws of our Constitutional Republic - the American Fifth Column is slowly, incrementally, systematically, chipping away at the wisdom as set forth by our Founders and Framers.

Thanks to Matt Drudge, Jesse Jackson’s disparaging comments about Barack Obama have become national news. Who benefits? Obama. It makes Obama look like a moderate, compared to the disgraced, discredited and venomous Jackson. But this doesn’t mean, by any stretch of the imagination, that Jackson, a failed black presidential candidate, will cease to be a national black “leader” and spokesman. Remember this is a “Reverend” who has survived the embarrassment of fathering a child out of wedlock.

When the "G-8" meets you expect that momentous decisions will be made and the results will be posted on the front page of newspapers and be lead stories on the evening news. That this does not happen is a tribute to the uselessness of such events.

Lobbying Efforts have  Renewed Obama's Global Poverty Act
Rumors have been circulating around Capitol Hill that a few activist groups have renewed their surge and have begun lobbying full force for a bill introduced by presidential candidate Sen. Barack Obama (D-IL). The bill has already passed out of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee without any public hearings, and it also passed the House earlier this year.

Barack Obama Still Opposes Victory Strategy in Iraq Print E-mail

Barack Obama has recently tried to "refine" his rhetoric against the war in Iraq, but let's not be fooled - his actual policy in the war against terrorism remains the same.  Like my opponent, Jim McDermott, Obama remains fundamentally opposed to a victory strategy in the war against Islamic fascism.  If Obama were to be elected president, he would seek a rapid timeline for retreat from Iraq.

Harlingen, Texas, July 6, 2008:  To say that conservatives are displeased with the GOP candidate for president would be a gigantic understatement.  Those considered to be the demented Republican leadership who believe the right wing of the party will soon forget are wrong again. Conservatives are well aware the same people who have managed to lose everything that was accomplished during the Reagan years are once again ignoring them.

In 2003 newspaper columnist Robert Novak wrote his now infamous "Mission to Niger" (published on July 14, 2003) in which he mentioned an allegedly failed attempt by Saddam Hussein to purchase uranium reported by the husband of a (not so) secret CIA agent, Valerie Plame, and mentioned her by name.

Once Again, It's About Associations and Judgment Print E-mail

There has been much ado about Barack Obama’s associations and the judgment used in maintaining and entering into those associations. Obama’s associations with Jeremiah Wright, Williams Ayers, Frank Marshall Davis, the Progressive-Left activist group ACORN and his ideological association with Saul Alinsky are all perfect examples of his judgment, his willingness to associate with radical and troubled individuals and organizations.

It may not be too late!

City Journal

Since al-Qaida demolished the World Trade Center nearly seven years ago, New York's naked emperors-Governors George Pataki and Eliot Spitzer and architect Daniel Libeskind-have viewed an historic rebuilding challenge as an opportunity to invent a square wheel and then deny for years that it can't roll. This week, the Port Authority, which runs the site, released a report admitting that little progress had been made there-still more evidence that the government has responded to an external attack with a self-inflicted disaster.
