A new video of Jeremiah Wright has surfaced, showing Barack Obama's pastor of 20 years praising Marxism and discussing his ties to communists in El Salvador and Nicaragua and the Libyan government. Equally important, Wright is being introduced in the video by Robert W. McChesney, co-founder of Free Press, an organization which has come under scrutiny for its links to the Obama Administration and dedication to the transformation and control of the private media in the U.S.

In an article in the socialist Monthly Review, "Journalism, Democracy, and Class Struggle," McChesney declared, "Our job is to make media reform part of our broader struggle for democracy, social justice, and, dare we say it, socialism."

I chatted with a woman whose 12-year-old son is superior in every way except one: he's not a good reader. That's what the boy's schools had declared; she fully accepted this vision. She didn't like it but she accepted it.

What's wrong with this picture?

A person superior in every way could suffer from color blindness, for example, or deafness. These problems have very localized causes. One gene is wrong; a nerve is wrong.

Today Barack Hussein Obama is a million times more famous than Jeremy Glick, Todd Beamer or any of the other Flight 93 passengers who rushed the cockpit and prevented the terrorists from using their plane as guide missile. He is more famous than any of the firefighters, NYPD and PAPD police officers, as well as civilians who tried to save lives during the attacks of 9/11. He is of course vastly more famous than any of the soldiers who have died over the last eight years fighting terrorism.

Rifqa Bary is the 17-year-old girl who fled from Ohio to Florida earlier this year to escape being killed by her Muslim father. What was Bary's crime? She converted to Christianity several years ago and kept her faith hidden from her Muslim parents.  (RSN:Also see related articles on Rifqa)
