How does one who claims to be a follower of Jesus Christ help to legislate killing the unborn? It is a complete contradiction to the teachings of the Bible ("You shall not murder" [Exodus 20:13].
As an Illinois state senator, Barack H. Obama refused to support legislation to protect babies that survived late-term abortions, claiming "I did not want to concede."

April 14, 2008 The world is finally seeing China for what it is: a totalitarian dictatorship.
It's widely known that China has been rounding up and persecuting First Amendment advocates. These Chinese dissidents who use the Internet and demonstrations to protest what China has been doing often disappear or are sent to re-education camps.
During a segment of Fox News Channel's The O'Reilly Factor, former CBS TV newsman now media critic, Bernard Goldberg, stated clearly and consisely, "The news media are corrupt." His fellow guest Jane Hall, formerly of the L.A. Times and now a respected journalism professor concurred.

The Washington Post claims that it is "committed to correcting errors" that appear in the newspaper. Not always, including errors that mislead readers about basic Israeli policy and actions.
CAMERA published an advertisement (see below) in the April 10 editions of The Washington Times, a major daily, and the Washington Jewish Week, highlighting one particularly obvious example The Post refused to correct.

The British government announced Thursday that it was ending efforts to deport Mehdi Kazemi, a 19-year-old Iranian who has been studying in Britain a move that should be applauded by human rights activists everywhere. Had he been forced to return to Iran, Kazemi would almost certainly have been executed there.

Jaap de Hoop Scheffer - NATO's Secretary General said on 03/03/2008 he fears the airing of a Dutch film criticizing Islam will have repercussions for troops in Afghanistan.
The controversy is about a film made by right wing Dutch MP, Geert Wilders, which has not yet been screened and according to Geert Wilders the film is about the Koran but he has given no further details.
