The U.S. House of Representatives is expected to bring a bill to the floor this week which will create a Hawaiian race-based government by establishing a Native Hawaiian “tribe.”

Last month, the Senate failed to pass the D.C. Voting Rights Act of 2007, S. 1257, which would have given full voting rights to the D.C. delegate. Since this attempt to add a permanent Democrat vote failed, a renewed energy to push legislation through to make Puerto Rico a U.S. state has emerged in the House of Representatives!

Urge your Senators to Vote AGAINST the UN Law of the Sea Treaty!
This week, the Senate Foreign Relations Committee will be holding its second hearing on the UN Law of the Sea Treaty. The Law of the Sea Treaty, or LOST, created the International Seabed Authority (ISA), giving it total jurisdiction over all the oceans and everything in them, including the ocean floor with "all" its riches ("solid, liquid or gaseous mineral resources"), along with the power to regulate seven-tenths of the world's surface. The treaty remains highly defective, despite claims by both the Clinton and Bush Administrations that all Reagan's concerns have been "fixed." If the Senate were to ratify it, LOST would do the following:
