An Orchestrated Invasion Of The Homeland

My Mother hits the pristine age of 80 this year.  She’s always been one who likes to write letters and share her thoughts with others.  One of her hobbies is decorating stationary and she’s won awards for that.

She’s had pen-pals for as long as I can remember and still has some.  One of those pen-pals she corresponds with lives in Texas.  That particular pen-pal, a lady, lives close to the southern border of the Lone Star State.  In a recent letter she wrote to my Mom she spoke of the fear she had for her family and friends.  The catalyst of that fear is the invasion of thousands of illegals coming across the border into her neighborhood and surrounding towns.

She said her family, relatives, and friends live in constant fear for their safety and grow angrier each day at the lack of protection the US government has forfeited its citizens.

My Mother’s pen-pal is a senior citizen, yet, instead of enjoying her retirement she lives in fear and to me that just simply seems un-American.

That Texan states her husband and their friends have begun to arm themselves heavily.

If you analyze that statement one would have to conclude that’s the direct opposite of freedom and liberty and the unfortunate part is its all preventable.

The Obama Administration is loosely interpreting, manipulating, legislation signed into law by George W. Bush that pertained to human trafficking.

An exorbitant amount of money is being spent on border protection that doesn’t correlate to protection at all.  Border patrol agents are being instructed to change diapers, baby sit illegal youngsters, and according to Rick Perry, the Governor of Texas, agents aren’t patrolling the border at all.  In reality, the Obama administration has positioned the border patrol 45 miles inside the confines of the United States.

The Obama Administration’s reason for doing that is calculated.  The explanation the Administration gives for doing such a thing is they want illegals to be captured on American soil so they can be given a deportation hearing.  If they were turned away at the border they wouldn’t be able to have such a hearing.

At the taxpayers’ expense, thousands of illegals are being transported by bus and planes by the government to detention centers located on Air Force bases around the country in some 600 locations.

It’s been said some of these children and their mothers are in extremely poor health and may carry diseases that are quite contagious.  However, the screening process the government is running them through is quite brief and is being conducted under a cloud of secrecy. Congressmen and Senators are being told if they do visit these facilities they can’t talk to the children, ask questions of the staff, or take pictures.

     It’s quite outrageous, but orchestrated.

The illegals are being quickly dispersed around the country to adoptive families who can’t be verified as legal citizens either.  In a congressional hearing a top ranking homeland security division official claimed they don’t track such things.

In a recent interview, the Director of Homeland Security claimed illegals will be deported.  He failed to mention they get a deportation hearing that could take up to 528 days to implement.  Some of the illegals admitted they have no intention of showing up for a hearing.

This is a political maneuver that forsakes the safety of American citizens. These people are being integrated into American society quickly and no one really knows what kind of diseases they carry.  Is an outbreak inevitable?  Since there’s no thorough background check being conducted on these people how do we know they’re not dangerous criminals, or terrorists for that matter?

It’s reckless behavior by an administration out of control, but I believe not all policies being enforced by this administration are haphazard or driven by incompetence.

I believe it’s an orchestrated maneuver to pad future Democratic voter rolls.  If those illegals stay in America long enough they’ll become citizens.  They will be low skilled, uneducated, and no doubt dependent on government for the necessities of life and often times vote Democrat.

At a festival I recently bought a T-shirt I thought was amusing, yet poignant.  It has a picture of the Nation’s Capital dome on it with the words “Never underestimate the power of stupid people in large groups.”  Every time I wear that shirt in public I get comments from people - 99.9% of the time they’re in full agreement with the shirt’s unequivocal rhetorical.
