I was driving home listening to Rush on the radio and when he said our country has 61.6 trillion in unfunded liabilities, my brain locked up. He was referring to Glenn Beck's report on that.... Then I started thinking of all the politicians and how they are talking. There is not a one that is calling on substantial actions to reverse course. When my wife lost her job a year before last, we stopped all spending, except for the mortgate, electricity, food and the car. We cut everywhere, had a yard sale....we started shopping at GoodWill, thrift stores, yard sales if we needed something important. We stopped going out to eat, going to the movies, taking care of the yard.
But Washington and the FED are trucking on down the road and have saddled each American household with over 300,000 dollars, some estimates are a bit more. Why hasn't the media reported on this? Where is the "Paull Revere" of economics?
Our whole country is being railroaded right off the cliff. What do you think would happen if the oil stops from the Middle East, and the super powers start fighting over that? What do you think would happen if at the same time our monetary system here in the U.S. collapsed....and Obama wants to bail out Greece! We have Loony Tunes in D.C. folks. We need a REAL MAN or a REAL WOMAN at the helm here. I haven't seen a real leader yet! I did hear Rick Santorum on the radio today, and he is the ONLY one that impressed me. Romney is an idiot for believing in the global warming lie. Its the way he believes it. He stated he hasn't read the facts, but just believes it anyways. Politicians change their coats to appeal to the audience they speak to, and I would like to see how many coats Romney has. He just talks well but has that politician smell about him.

RUSH: You know, Austan Goolsbee's out. He's quitting. He's gonna go back and teach, which is exciting. Here's a guy that's the fifth economic advisor to quit the Obama team. The only one of the originals left is Geithner. And so Goolsbee's going back to teach which is not encouraging. Here's a total screw up who has no clue what he's doing. He's gonna go back to the halls of academe and corrupt and pollute the minds, the young skulls full of mush, the youths of America. I've been looking at what Carville had to say. Carville is predicting potential riots next summer if the unemployment situation doesn't change, making it clear that these are not good times for Obama. As I say, I will develop this later on as the program unfolds before your very eyes and ears today, but at some point you Democrats are gonna have to make a decision.
