Americans from a Minuteman group, a Tea Party group and a 912 group gathered to express their views regarding a recent "May Day" parade in San Francisco, May 1st, 2010. The 40 Americans who attended for these 3 groups were polite, not confrontive and were simply there exercising their 1st Amendment rights. Take a peek at the video taken of the event, it is quite revealing.
The police and barriers kept the mob at bay. The polite, restrained civility of the Minuteman group, the TeaParty group and the 912 group seemed to only further agitate the mob. Many in the mob apparently forgot they were not in their country of origin where there are no Constitutional rights to freedom of speech or the right to peaceable assembly.
The 3 groups members were verbally abused by hostile, obnoxious, obscenity shouting crowds who incessantly hurled the term racist . Let’s be clear here, no one in these 3 groups had racist signs, made racist comments or responded in any way that was racist. They were not the racist ones present. [sign to the right was not at this event, but I felt it appropriate]
So, why is it that these mobs are so nasty and quick to smear that racist label on everyone they don't like or that might disagree with them? Well, let's take a look at what one of their own, Alfredo Gutierrez, a noted spokesperson on behalf of the poor, downtrodden "undocumented immigrant" has to say about slinging the epithet "racist":
"We call things racism just to get attention. We reduce complicated problems to racism, not because it is racism, but because it works."
Finally, one of the hate-mongers tells the truth - - it is not about race, it never has been! At least not from most Americans - the hatred and racism seems to more often be spewing from those who are here illegally screaming their demands or from those who support them.
Why do they spit the “racist” label at every opportunity? Easy, it deflects the attention from their own ravaging racism, it puts the accused on the defensive and as Gutierrez says “it works” to fool so many into belief and support of the rest of their lies. The pro-amnesty mobs and the illegals continue to assault Americans on every front and yet have successfully portrayed their hate-filled criminal activity as being the victims.
I ask again, America, are you ready?
