TIP Statement Clarifying its Stance Towards the Democratic, Secular Turkestani Parties
The NEFA Foundation has obtained and translated a statement from the Turkestan Islamic Party (TIP), in which TIP affirmed that "the armed jihad is the method of the Turkestan Islamic Party to solve the affairs of Turkestan, and all the mujahideen inside Turkestan and outside belong to us.
And any other method [sought] for change that takes a way other than Islam and without arms, we disown it infinitely." TIP also denounced numerous Uighar parties, including the Uighur Union in America, the Uighur Union in Australia, the Internal Uighur Conference, and the Uighur Association in Sweden. Read More..
The NEFA Foundation plays a role in the fight against terror through cohesive and comprehensive efforts to research, analyze, and disseminate information pertaining to past and current terrorist activities.
