Turkestan Islamic Party (TIP) Statement on Alleged False Website

The NEFA Foundation has obtained and translated a statement from the Turkestan Islamic Party (TIP), in which TIP alleged that "Recently, a private website was launched in the name of the Turkestan Islamic Party on the internet (www.tipislam.net) and we inform you that it has no connection or relation with us.

TipButtonIt is a lying, falsifying and stealing the name of the party, despite the fact that the material on the website was previously published by the group [TIP]." TIP counseled, "We are not responsible for any harm that hits whomever surfs through this website." Further, according to the communiqué, "we inform you my dear brothers that currently there isn't a private website for the Turkestan Islamic Party on the internet. If we are able to establish the website again we will announce to everyone regarding that in a special statement by our media center ‘Sawt al-Islam'."
