(Historical) Hamas Statement in Response to Assassination of Sheikh Ahmed Yassin
The NEFA Foundation has obtained a document, released by the Ezzedeen Al Qassam Brigades (the military wing of the Palestinian Hamas movement), in conjunction with the sixth anniversary of the death of Hamas founder Sheikh Ahmed Yassin. Originally released on March 22, 2004, in response to the death of Sheikh Ahmed Yassin, the statement warned: "Zionist murderers, you granted our Sheikh martyrdom and we will grant you sudden death in every city and street!" The statement continued: "a Yassin will come out against them (the Israelis) from every city and in every street and lane."
Further, "The Zionists did not dare to do this act without getting the agreement of the terrorist America administration. It must therefore bear responsibility for this crime." Read More...
