Just like our Federal government, the State of Virginia, led by former Governor Tim Kaine has proposed many hidden taxes and fees that will hit the citizens of Virginia should they remain.
Virginians continue to join The Richmond Tea Party and the Americans for Prosperity Virginia State Chapter to unite and tell their elected representatives to be a government of responsible spending for the people, not themselves. The "cancer of spending" has our country by the throat, snuffing private job creation, individual responsibility, entrepreneurial growth, and threatens our freedoms and way of life. Since the new Obama administration has take office, we have witnessed "hyper-spending", demolishing of car companies, a threatened take-over of our health care system, cap and trade and pending amnesty for millions of illegal occupants of our great country.
Concerned Americans are on the move and Monday's rally is just a drop in the bucket compared to the outrage to come if our local, State and Federal governments don't STOP.

Bernie Madoff ran it.... Enron cooked it.....Charles Ponzi gave it a name.
Now the Virginia Senate is trying to put one over on you.
BUT YOU CAN HELP STOP THIS SHELL GAME!
Former Governor Tim Kaine proposed many hidden taxes and fees in his outgoing budget in December. The Virginia House of Delegates eliminated many of those in their version of the budget, but the Virginia Senate endorsed them all - meaning that Virginians are still at risk of paying lots of new taxes.
Among the millions in new taxes and fees in the Senate budget is a 24% tax hike on every home, business and cell phone. Yes, EVERY phone line, EVERY month. So this is a tax that will hit virtually every household in the Commonwealth and many of them multiple times.
Some claim this higher tax is critical to funding our E-911 system. But, really, E-911 is already fully funded. In fact, the proposed use of this additional money has nothing at all to do with the E-911 system. Instead, they want to use if for programs completely unrelated.
That's called a shell game.
We hope you'll use their Web site to tell your legislators and the Governor to ELIMINATE all the new taxes and fees, especially the E-911 tax increase.
