Voice of the Copts Travel Advisory: Stay Out of Egypt

VOTCIn regard to the massacre of eight Copts in Upper Egypt after the conclusion of the Coptic Christmas Mass and the ten others seriously injured in the drive-by shootings which was previously planned by the regime's operatives, Copts are convinced that the shootings are part of the regime's effort to drive them out of their country or to force them to embrace Islam.

On behalf of Voice of the Copts, VOTC Board of Directors and members, Dottore Architetto Ashraf Ramelah is requesting that:

The Italian Foreign Minister, His Excellency Franco Frattini, cancel his announced visit to Cairo due to the seriousness of this issue and the issue of Egyptian interference in Italian internal affairs related to Rosarno in Calabria.   

In addition, and due to the gravity of Egyptian instability, Voice of the Copts advises anyone planning to visit Egypt to cancel his/her trip.
