Employment Non-Discrimination Act (ENDA) Threatens the Practice of Religion & Our Nation's Children The House may be voting on passage of the Employment Non-Discrimination Act (ENDA) as soon as early December before the Christmas recess. ENDA is a direct assault on the constitutionally guaranteed free exercise of religion. This means that you can have a belief in your heart but not practice it. It is key legislation favored by the LGBT (lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender) lobby to gain federally-protected minority status for sexual behaviors that most Americans consider bizarre or abnormal.
ENDA (S. 1584) will force all businesses, schools, and other enterprises in America with 15 or more employees to submit to the LGBT political agenda. ENDA will force businesses, public schools (pre-kindergarten through 12th grade), as well as Christian entities such as religious broadcasters, Christian bookstores, etc., to accommodate the sexual practices of cross-dressers, drag queens, transsexuals, and even she-males (individuals who undergo only a partial sex change operation). Will private Christian entities such as camps, pre-schools, grade and high schools, be forced to hire she-males? Under ENDA it is likely. Make no mistake about it: ENDA will also directly target public schools and help fuel the LGBT agenda on campuses. Imagine a school teacher telling students he's returning the next year as a woman. Will parents be free to opt their children out of a transsexual's class? NO. Parents are already prevented from doing so by a similar law in California. Additionally, a recent Massachusetts court decision jailed a parent who disagreed with homosexual teaching in his child's elementary school. Will children who are offended be considered bigots who need re-education? Probably, yes. ENDA will federalize the sexual insanity taking place in California schools - thanks to a LGBT-dominated legislature and compliant governor. Children in California schools are captive to the LGBT political agenda. If ENDA passes, transsexuals, drag queens, cross-dressers and she-males will be federally-protected minority groups and can freely exploit our nation's public school kids. ENDA is proposing newly invented rights for individuals who engage in a variety of bizarre sex acts. ENDA pits constitutional rights of religious freedom and free speech against individuals who cross-dress or engage in dangerous sexual activities. Openly gay Obama appointee John Berry runs Office of Personnel Management, which is the federal government's personnel agency. He recently gave a speech at a LGBT conference and said that ENDA is the most important piece of legislation the LGBT movement can get passed. Only grassroots action can protect religious liberty. ACTION NEEDED IMMEDIATELY It is vital that you do three things:

I can only echo what the previous writer has said. I am in full agreement. I can only add that there is a short period in a transsexual's life and transition that they do need to ask for understanding and compa*sion. Once beyond that time we ask and expect no more from society Christian or otherwise than any other decent and honest human being.

One has to be taken that one of the requests above asking your readers to lobby against equal rights for LGBT Citizens is the fact you also asked that your readers send money to TVC.
Over the Thanksgiving Holidays a report was released in Ireland detailing not just a threat to Child safety… but how an actual pattern of mindless obedience to church authority, can create an attitude of deference and secrecy where the conditions under which child sexual abuse can and have long prevailed…. In Ireland and also in the United States and the pattern is clear… it is not LGBT parents should be worried about… it is the leaders of churches that use them as a diversion so their member will not see… THE TRUE DANGER. This effort to kill ENDA is just one more diversion so parents will not look at the true threats to their children… They are duping you… gays are not the threat… and history has proven time and again who really is.

True transsexuals like myself want nothing more than to correct a misfire of nature, and go on with our lives unnoticed. It's like dealing with diabetes or or a genetically defective heart. We want no special rights. We just want to transition, move on and be left alone if our past condition is brought to light.
Unfortunately, 'drag queens, cross-dressers', self-described 'gender queers' and what-have-you have co-opted the transsexual condition for their own purposes. They are currently attempting to do the same with people born intersexed as well. It is wrong.
Unlike actual transsexuals, they are often fetish-driven and sexually motivated. Worse, this overrunning of the transsexual condition has been inflammed by the porn industry. Enacting a forced sexualization upon us, and cementing it by mixing terms like 'she-male' and transsexual together.
Two out of three transsexuals that are unable to correct their body to match their mind attempt suicide by age 30. One in three succeeds. It is a biological drive within the brain, not a psychological fluke from the mind.
And we're getting crushed by two sides. On the right, we have those conservative and religious that just don't understand the medical cause and the legitimacy. On the left, we have liberal and political activists exploiting us for their own gain.
Men getting sexually aroused by dressing as women have nothing to do with me, or my first suicide attempt at age twelve during puberty. Transvestites attempt to 'legitimize' themselves by a*sociation with us.
Although what i have endured in my life has led me to a complete lack of faith or belief, many of us are devoted Christians. Still others are married as well, carrying on women's lives after SRS, ordinary in every way, far removed from the political insanity.
There are transsexual people who are being silenced and suppressed by the so-called 'transgender movement'. In an attempt to force acceptance of everyone regardless of anything, they have co-opted us and then actively try to silence us. The fractional minority sacrificed for the majority.
Please try to understand that the situation is complex, and do not roll us together. It only compounds a very real problem of victimization taking place.
