 October 22, 2009 - An Emanuel County man wanted by the Emanuel County Sheriff's Department in Swainsboro, Georgia was arrested by the U.S. Marshals Savannah Office of the Southeast Regional Fugitive Task Force in Eden, Georgia. Patric Kersey, 45, was being sought on numerous state warrants for Aggravated Assault on a Police Officer, Aggravated Assault, two charges of Aggravated Battery, and Felony Obstruction.

  October 22, 2009 - The U.S. Marshals Florida Regional Fugitive Task Force located a missing "endangered" juvenile in Thomasville, GA. The Marshals task force was contacted by the Dodge County Sheriff's Office located in Eastman, GA for assistance after developing information indicating the juveniles were possibly in the area. According to Lt. Donald Helm, two juveniles, 16 year old Jamila Roberson and 17 year old Hermina Brown, disappeared from the campus of Dodge County High School on Tuesday, October 13.  

  October 21, 2009 - The Lone Star Fugitive Task Force (LSFTF) arrested Ruben Nuncio Jr. on Federal Charges after developing information he may be hiding out at a motel in San Antonio. On September 28, 2009, a federal arrest warrant was issued charging Ruben Nuncio Jr. with a violation of the conditions of Federal Supervised Release.  

  October 21, 2009 - Charles Andrew Williams, wanted on a federal warrant by the U.S. Marshals Eastern Iowa Fugitive Task Force for Possession of Child Pornography, was arrested yesterday by the U.S. Marshals in Pensacola.  The U.S. Marshals in Cedar Rapids, Iowa requested the assistance of the Pensacola Division of the Florida Regional Fugitive Task Force to locate and arrest Williams.  Task Force members with the Eastern Iowa Fugitive Task Force received information that Williams was living in Pace, Florida.  The Pensacola Task Force apprehended Williams without incident.  

  October 21, 2009 - A Florida man wanted by the Pinellas County Sheriff's Department in Largo, Florida was arrested by the United States Marshals Savannah Office of the Southeast Regional Fugitive Task Force and Savannah Chatham Metropolitan Police Department (SCMPD) Precinct Officers in Savannah, Georgia. Jovan Collier, 31, was being sought a state warrant for Aggravated Stalking.  

  October 19, 2009 - Cathy J. Jones, U.S. Marshal for the Southern District of Ohio, announced that Marco Medina has been arrested. In August of 2004, United States District Court Judge Edmund A. Sargus Jr. issued a warrant for Medina's arrest. The warrant charged Medina with Conspiracy and Possession with Intent to Distribute over one hundred kilograms of marijuana.  

  October 19, 2009 - Washington - The Federal Law Enforcement Officers Association (FLEOA) has announced that the U.S. Marshals Regional Fugitive Task Force (RFTF) Program is the recipient of the 2008 National Award for Group Achievement.  The six Regional Fugitive Task Forces, which cover 28 federal judicial districts, were commended for their work in reducing violent crime by targeting fugitive felons, including sex offenders who fail to register, and individuals associated with gang activity.  

  October 17, 2009 - Bernard Baker AKA: Scrappy, was apprehended at a home on Schoolhouse Road in Columbia, SC. Baker is a fugitive from the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and is a suspect in a Homicide/Murder that took place on August 16, 2008. The U.S. Marshals Task Force, Operation Intercept received a request for investigative assistance on August 1, 2009 based on information gathered leading investigators to believe Baker had fled to South Carolina.  

  October 16, 2009 - Joseph Guccione, the U.S. Marshal for the Southern District of New York, announced today the completed sale of Bernard Madoff's residence in Montauk, New York. After multiple offers, the property, which was listed for 8.75 million on September 01, 2009 with the Corcoran Group, was sold on September 18, 2009 for 9.41 million.  

  October 13, 2009 - A North Carolina man wanted by the Raleigh Police Department was arrested by the United States Marshals Southeast Regional Fugitive Task Force and the Savannah Chatham Metropolitan Police Department (SCMPD) Westside Precinct Officers in Savannah, Georgia. Justin Jamel Brown, 20, was being sought a state warrant for Armed Robbery, issued on October 9, 2009 in Raleigh, North Carolina.
