Border Patrol agents seized over 11,314 pounds of marijuana, 78.76 pounds of heroin and 30.70 pounds of pseudoephedrine. Agents arrested 17 criminal aliens and 12 gang members. There were 18 rocking incidents.

San Diego Sector - Border Patrol agents arrested a United States Citizen (USC) near San Diego, California. The subject initially claimed to be an illegal alien from Mexico. Records checks revealed the subject was a USC with an outstanding arrest warrant for homicide and attempted homicide in the State of California.

Tucson Sector - Border Patrol agents arrested an illegal alien from Mexico near Bisbee, Arizona. Records checks revealed the subject had

a prior conviction for unlawful sexual activity with a minor in the State of Utah and had been previously removed from the United States.

Yuma Sector - Border Patrol agents arrested a national of Mexico near Blythe, California. During a vehicle stop, records checks revealed the subject had prior convictions for conspiracy and intent to manufacture methamphetamine in the State of California.

El Centro Sector - Border Patrol agents arrested an illegal alien from Mexico near Calexico, California. During processing, the subject was identified as a Tokers Town gang member. Records checks revealed he had an extensive criminal history and had been previously removed from the United States.

Marfa Sector - Border Patrol agents seized .02 pounds of marijuana, a loaded 9mm Browning handgun, a 2008 Ford F-250, and arrested a USC at the traffic checkpoint near Sierra Blanca, Texas. The subject presented himself for inspection and a Border Patrol canine alerted to the vehicle. A search revealed the items inside the vehicle.

Rio Grande Valley Sector - Border Patrol agents arrested an illegal alien from El Salvador near La Grulla, Texas. During processing, the subject admitted to being an 18th Street gang member. Records checks revealed he had a prior conviction for involuntary manslaughter in the State of California for which he served a 12-year sentence. The subject had also been previously removed from the United States.

Tucson Sector - Border Patrol agents arrested an illegal alien from Mexico near Tucson, Arizona. Records checks revealed the subject had multiple felony convictions, an arrest warrant issued in the State of California for sexual assault, and had been previously removed from the United States.

Yuma Sector - Border Patrol agents seized 34.07 pounds of pseudoephedrine in Blythe, California. Agents conducted a vehicle stop on a car being driven by a suspected illegal alien. It was determined that both occupants of the vehicle were illegal aliens from Mexico. During a search of the vehicle, agents discovered the contraband packed in 19 separate bags. 

Yuma Sector - Border Patrol agents seized 3.1 grams of marijuana, a loaded .45 caliber Ruger handgun, and detained two USCs at the traffic checkpoint near Dateland, Arizona. The two subjects presented themselves for inspection and a Border Patrol canine alerted to the vehicle. A subsequent search revealed the items concealed in the vehicle.

Rio Grande Valley Sector - Border Patrol agents seized 2,166 pounds of marijuana and a 1996 Chevrolet pickup near La Casita, Texas. Agents attempted to stop a suspect vehicle and the driver stopped and absconded. Agents discovered 117 packages of narcotics in the passenger and cargo area of the abandoned vehicle.

Tucson Sector - Border Patrol agents seized 3000 rounds of ammunition, a 2008 Volkswagen Jetta, and arrested a national of Mexico near Nogales, Arizona. The subject and another unidentified person were observed moving boxes over the international border fence into Mexico, west of the DeConcini Port of Entry. The unidentified person eluded apprehension and absconded into Mexico.

Tucson Sector - Border Patrol agents arrested an illegal alien from Mexico near Nogales, Arizona. Records checks revealed the subject had prior convictions for sexual battery and indecent liberties with child in the State of North Carolina. The subject had also been previously removed from the United States.

Laredo Sector - Border Patrol agents seized 3,074 pounds of marijuana, a 2006 Kenworth tractor-trailer, and arrested a USC at the traffic checkpoint near Hebbronville, Texas. The subject presented himself for inspection, and a Border Patrol canine alerted to the vehicle. A search revealed the narcotics concealed in the trailer.

Rio Grande Valley Sector - Border Patrol agents seized 2,212 pounds of marijuana, a 2000 Freightliner tractor-trailer, and arrested a USC at the traffic checkpoint near Sarita, Texas. The subject presented himself for inspection and a Border Patrol canine alerted to the trailer. A search revealed 38 bundles concealed within a load of strawberries.

Rio Grande Valley Sector - Border Patrol agents seized 1.37 pounds of heroin, a 2003 Ford Expedition, and arrested two USCs at the traffic checkpoint near Sarita, Texas. Both subjects presented themselves for inspection, a search revealed one subject carrying the heroin on her person. Upon investigation, agents discovered that the male subject is associated with the Mexican Mafia gang. Records checks revealed he also has prior convictions for possession of marijuana, driving while intoxicated, burglary and evading arrest.

Tucson Sector - Border Patrol agents arrested an illegal alien from Mexico near Douglas, Arizona. Records checks revealed the subject had prior convictions for driving without a license and driving under the influence alcohol/drugs, an active warrant of arrest for murder issued in the State of California, and had also been previously removed from the United States.

El Centro Sector - Border Patrol agents seized 58.9 pounds of heroin and arrested two USCs at the traffic checkpoint near Westmoreland, California. The subjects were passengers on a bus that was presented for inspection. A Border Patrol canine alerted to the luggage compartment of the bus and a subsequent search of two suitcases revealed the heroin concealed inside.

Tucson Sector - Border Patrol agents seized a loaded Arminius .357 magnum handgun and 410 pounds of marijuana near Ajo, Arizona. While conducting patrol duties, agents encountered the abandoned marijuana and weapon.

Tucson Sector - Border Patrol agents arrested an illegal alien from Mexico near Douglas, Arizona. During processing, the subject admitted to being a member of the Sureños gang. Records checks revealed he had multiple criminal convictions and had been previously removed from the United States.

Yuma Sector - Border Patrol agents arrested an illegal alien from Mexico near Blythe, California. Records checks revealed the subject had a prior conviction for assault/commit rape in the State of California, and had been previously removed from the United States.

El Paso Sector - Border Patrol agents arrested two USCs after they unlawfully entered the United States to avoid examination near El Paso, Texas. Records checks revealed that one subject had an outstanding warrant for a parole violation in the State of Colorado, and the other had an outstanding warrant for homicide in the State of Colorado.

Tucson Sector - Border Patrol agents arrested an illegal alien from Mexico near Douglas, Arizona. During processing, the subject admitted to being an 18th street gang member. Records checks revealed he had been previously removed from the United States.

Tucson Sector - Border Patrol agents arrested an illegal alien from Mexico near Douglas, Arizona. Records checks revealed the subject had an extensive criminal history, including a conviction for a sex offense against a child in the State of California. The subject had also been previously removed from the United States.

Tucson Sector - Border Patrol agents arrested an illegal alien from Mexico near Nogales, Arizona. Records checks revealed the subject had a prior conviction for sexual battery in the State of California, and had been previously removed from the United States.

Yuma Sector - Border Patrol agents seized one gram of marijuana, a loaded .38 Colt revolver, and arrested a USC at the traffic checkpoint near Dateland, Arizona. The subject presented himself for inspection and a search revealed the marijuana and the revolver. Records checks revealed the subject had an outstanding arrest warrant for insufficient funds issued in the State of Arizona.

Del Rio Sector - Border Patrol agents arrested an illegal alien from Mexico, a USC, and seized 253 pounds of marijuana near Brackettville, Texas. Agents attempted to conduct a vehicle stop and the driver fled the scene by driving through a fence and striking a large tree. Records checks revealed the illegal alien had an active arrest warrant for possession of marijuana and had been previously removed from the United States.

Del Rio Sector - Border Patrol agents arrested an illegal alien from Mexico near Del Rio, Texas. During processing, the subject admitted to being a member of the Paisas gang. Records checks revealed he had a prior conviction for narcotics possession in the State of Texas, and had been previously removed from the United States.

El Paso Sector - Border Patrol agents arrested an illegal alien from Mexico near El Paso, Texas. During processing, the subject admitted to being a member of the East Side Locos street gang. Records checks revealed the subject had been previously removed from the United States.

El Paso Sector - Border Patrol agents arrested an illegal alien from Mexico near Fabens, Texas. During processing, the subject admitted to being a member of the Barrio Azteca gang. Records checks revealed the subject had been previously removed from the United States.

Rio Grande Valley Sector - Border Patrol agents seized 2,362 pounds of marijuana, a tractor- trailer, and arrested a USC at the traffic checkpoint near Falfurrias, Texas. The subject presented himself for inspection and a Border Patrol canine alerted to the trailer. A search revealed 91 bundles of marijuana mixed with the cargo.

Rio Grande Valley Sector - Border Patrol agents seized 18.4 pounds of heroin and arrested two nationals of Mexico at the traffic checkpoint near Sarita, Texas. The subjects were passengers aboard a bus that was presented for inspection. A Border Patrol canine alerted to the luggage compartment, and a search revealed the heroin concealed inside two suitcases.

Tucson Sector - Border Patrol agents arrested an illegal alien from Mexico, a USC, and seized 236 pounds of marijuana after a ultralight aircraft (ULA) incursion near Lukeville, AZ. Agents were notified of the incursion and deployed to the area along with CBP Office of Air and Marine assets. Agents arrested two subjects and seized the marijuana; however, the ULA was observed heading back to Mexico.

Tucson Sector - Border Patrol agents arrested an illegal alien from Mexico near Douglas, Arizona. During processing, the subject admitted to being a member of the Locos 13 gang and had been previously removed from the United States.

Yuma Sector - Border Patrol agents seized 22 pounds of marijuana after a ULA incursion near San Luis, Arizona. The ULA was observed dropping suspected narcotics and returning to Mexico. Agents and CBP Office of Air and Marine assets deployed to the area and attempted to perform a vehicle stop on an F150 truck. The passenger attempted to abscond on foot, but was arrested. The driver continued into Mexico and was subsequently arrested by Mexican authorities.
