October 02, 2009 - Troy Wayne Fletcher, a federal fugitive on the run for three years, was captured by U.S. Marshals Service. Fletcher was indicted on child pornography charges in the Western District of Arkansas in November of 2006. Fletcher was on a home detention monitor while awaiting trial. Fletcher cut the monitor off and went on the run in December of 2006. Press Release ---------------------------------------------- October 02, 2009 - The Northwest Arkansas Sex Offender and Violent Crime Task Force arrested Terry Hayes, 41, in the Gravette, Arkansas area this morning after an exhaustive man hunt. On September 28, 2009, a federal warrant was issued for Hayes’ arrest for unlawful flight to avoid prosecution. Press Release
October 01, 2009 - A jury in U.S. District Court here today convicted Michael Harper, 54, of Cincinnati of one count of failure to register as a sex offender, as required by the Sex Offender Registration and Notification Act (SORNA). Press Release ---------------------------------------------- September 29, 2009 - U.S. Marshal Michael R. Regan announced today that the U.S. Marshals Service (USMS) and members of its Fugitive Task Force arrested Ismet Delic in Harrisburg. In March 2006, an arrest warrant was issued in the Republic of Bosnia and Herzegovina by the Cantonal Court of Novi Travnik charging Ismet Delic with murder. Regan and Williamsport Police Chief Gregory Foresman announced today that murder fugitive Riccheem Barker surrendered to U.S. Marshals and Williamsport Bureau of Police detectives in Newark, New Jersey. Press Release ------------------------------------------------- September 29, 2009 - Peter J. Elliott, U.S. Marshal for the Northern District of Ohio announces that the Northern Ohio Violent Fugitive Task Force, Lorain County Division apprehended violent fugitive Andres Arzola in Ponce, Puerto Rico. Arzola was wanted by the Cuyahoga County Sheriff’s Office for 12 counts of Armed Robbery and 12 counts of Kidnapping and he was also wanted by the Lorain Police Department for Felonious Assault, Aggravated Burglary and Kidnapping.
