New report from Federation for American Immigration Reform (FAIR) concerning an alarming number of security measures being abandoned, not enforced, or non-responsive. Perfect example is Governor Perry's press release and deployment of Rangers to the Mexican border due to the non-responsive Federal Government. The Federal Governments primary objective is to SECURE our country (its is NOT the job of the Federal government to provide Health Care-that is YOUR job) In a public relations campaign that evokes the image of Orwellian "newspeak," the Department of Homeland Security has announced a long list of accomplishments in improving national security while at the same time it has adopted a number of measures that represent a significant backsliding on national security. If only the rhetoric is heard, the public may think its safety is in good hands. If, however, recent actions concerning the illegal alien population and the flow of foreign nationals into and out of the country are examined, a very different picture emerges. The areas in which rhetoric and action widely diverge include:
While talking toughness on national security, the Obama Administration appears to give a higher priority to its relationship with narrow political interest groups that it courted in the last election than to reducing the nation's exposure to the threat of international terrorism. And, while President Obama's efforts to assure foreigners around the globe that Americans are their friends is commendable, it is no substitute for enhanced homeland security. If the Obama Administration were seriously interested in advancing national security, it would:

FAIR seeks to improve border security, to stop illegal immigration, and to promote immigration levels consistent with the national interest-more traditional rates of about 300,000 a year.

Sorry to say you're wrong.
E-verify is being funded and has become the law of the land. Joe Wilson was wrong bec.if he has listened correctly, he would have heard Obama say that in any plan he supports, illegal aliens will not be allowed to get health care insurance. Another Republican Congressman said he originally thought Obama said the House plan, but when he went back and listened to the speech he was wrong, as was Joe Wilson. Write comment

Like always the Democratic leadership kept a veiled silence, either intentional or not fully understanding the ma*sive 1000 page health care reform package. More true answers and not propaganda can be learned at NUMBERSUSA & JUDICIAL WATCH websites. Anything to do with enforcing immigration laws are either weakened or tabled in the Senate. Wealthy senators are in the deep pockets of the special interest lobbyists. As I speak they are pushing to rescind 287 G. local authorities apprehension of illegal immigrants. Another enforcement law to overturn is the No Match Letter. They cut funding for the original fence and President Obama and the Dem Leaders are pursuing another behemoth blanket Amnesty, instead of correcting the 1986 Immigration Act. It’s not broken, just abused and never enforced.
