September 03, 2009 - U.S. Marshal Michael R. Regan announced today that the U.S. Marshals Service (USMS) and members of its Fugitive Task Force arrested Eman Wiggs in Henryville, Pennsylvania. Wiggs was being sought on an arrest warrant issued by the Essex County Courts in Newark, New Jersey. On July 6, an incident occurred in Newark in which a victim was shot by several individuals. An investigation by the Newark Police Department determined that Eman Wiggs and Bilal Farrell were the assailants. Full Story

September 02, 2009 - Lawrence F. Sipple, 38, of Cincinnati was sentenced to 27 months imprisonment for failing to register as a sex offender, as required by the federal Sex Offender Registration Notification Act (SORNA). Sipple was also placed under court supervision for the rest of his life. Full Story

August 31, 2009 - A major fugitive wanted on outstanding federal charges for failure to appear was arrested by a joint fugitive operation comprised of Deputy Marshals from the U.S. Marshals Service's Brunswick Office and members of the following departments to include, Brunswick Police Department, the Glynn County Police Department, the Wayne County Sheriffs Department and the Brunswick State Probation Office. Larry Jackson's original charges were: Conspiracy to manufacture 1000 or more marijuana plants, Possession of a firearm by a Convicted Felon and Parole Violation. Full Story

August 31, 2009 - The U.S. Marshals Florida Regional Fugitive Task Force and the Escambia County Sheriff's Office Gang Unit worked together to capture a local rap artist who is wanted in connection with an armed home invasion. The Task Force and the Gang Unit caught up with suspect Antonio Dean aka "Lue Kane" late this afternoon in the city limits of Pensacola, after just missing him early Friday morning in the Lincoln Park section of Escambia County. August 31, 2009 - A fugitive wanted by the North Charleston, South Carolina Police Department has been arrested by the Savannah Office of the U.S. Marshals Southeast Regional Fugitive Task Force and the Savannah Chatham Metropolitan Police Department K-9 unit in Savannah, Georgia. Michael Louis Daniels was being sought on state warrants for Criminal Sexual Conduct, First Degree, Kidnapping, and Assault and Battery with intent to kill. Full Story

August 25, 2009 - James M. Wahlrab, United States Marshal for the Southern District of Ohio, announces the arrest of Dalcapone Alpaccino Morris. Morris was wanted by the Dayton Police Department for Murder, Kidnapping, Aggravated Robbery, Aggravated Burglary and Aggravated Assault. Full Story
