July 16, 2009 - Twenty-three year old Arturo Vasquez was arrested this morning by U.S. Marshals in the Harris County Courthouse in Houston, TX. Vasquez was wanted for allegedly stealing (by way of credit card fraud) eight-thousand dollars worth of merchandise from Home Depot in Lafayette; four-thousand dollars from Home Depot in Broussard; and four-thousand dollars from Home Depot in Alexandria. Vasquez is also under investigation for similar crimes in other cities in Louisiana to include Lake Charles and Monroe.

July 16, 2009 - Fugitive DeCharles Stephens thought that he could outrun the long arm of the law by hiding in Arizona. Today, he found out the hard way that the reach of the U.S. Marshals Service has no boundaries. Stephens was apprehended by U.S. Marshals in Glendale, Arizona. On June 11, Stephens escaped from a City of Cleveland prisoner van as he was being transported between the city jail and the Cleveland House of Corrections. Stephens was in custody on charges of attempted murder with a firearm.
July 15, 2009 - The Western District of Louisiana's Fugitive Task Force in Lafayette arrested thirty-seven year old Jack Copeland in Lafayette. Copeland was Wanted in Shelby County Alabama for 2nd Degree Sodomy and 2nd Degree Rape. Further, Coleman has outstanding warrants in Bay County, Florida for Possession of Controlled Substance (Felony) and two counts of Domestic Battery (Felony).
July 14, 2009 - U.S. Marshal Michael R. Regan announced today the arrest of Micky Louis Mayon, who was being sought by local authorities in Dauphin County for his alleged role in a criminal incident in April 2007. This case captured a significant amount of media attention, to include the television program America's Most Wanted.
July 13, 2009 - The Eastern District of Louisiana (E/LA) United States Marshals Service is reaching out to the Hollygrove Community through the Gang Resistance Education and Training Program (G.R.E.A.T.) by sponsoring a summer camp in conjunction with the Trinity Christian Community Center (TCC) from July 13-17, 2009, at 3908 Joliet St. New Orleans, LA.
July 10, 2009 - Ezekiel Ochoa was arrested by officers of the Joint East Texas Fugitive Task Force from the Smith County DA's Office the Texas Rangers and the U.S. Marshals Service. Ochoa was wanted out of Cherokee County Georgia on a warrant for rape. The warrant was issued on June 29th in Cherokee County Georgia.
July 09, 2009 - The U.S. Marshals Service, partnering with federal, state and local law enforcement, arrested 35,190 fugitives and cleared 47,418 warrants as part of Operation FALCON 2009 (Federal and Local Cops Organized Nationally), U.S. Marshals Service Director John F. Clark announced today.
