July 09, 2009 - The U.S. Marshals Service, partnering with federal, state and local law enforcement, arrested 35,190 fugitives and cleared 47,418 warrants as part of Operation FALCON 2009 (Federal and Local Cops Organized Nationally), U.S. Marshals Service Director John F. Clark announced today. Ranging from coast to coast, Operation FALCON 2009 brought together the resources of 42 federal agencies, 209 state agencies and 1,973 local sheriffs' and police departments, to again make the program a huge success.  FALCON 2009 Home Page

July 09, 2009 - The Southern Ohio Fugitive Apprehension Strike Team (SOFAST) arrested 24 year-old Gerald Wilson at an associate's residence located on East McMicken Avenue in Cincinnati, Ohio. Wilson is accused of shooting and killing Kenneth Gaines and Mark Davenport in Cincinnati, Ohio on July 3, 2009.

July 09, 2009 - A major fugitive wanted on outstanding state charges for a drive-by shooting has been arrested in Dublin, GA by the U.S. Marshals Service Savannah office of the Southeast Regional Fugitive Task Force. Marston Lawrence Tolin was listed as a Most Wanted Fugitive in Oklahoma and had been profiled on television there.

July 08, 2009 - Clayton Douglas Shoemate, 38, of Austin was arrested in Piedras Negras, Coahuila, Mexico by Immigration authorities. The Lone Star Fugitive Task Force met Shoemate at the Port of Entry in Eagle Pass, Texas and was arrested for an outstanding January 2008 charge arising from the Austin Police Department alleging Shoemate was involved in sexual assaults against a child.

July 06, 2009 - The Lone Star Fugitive Task Force (LSFTF) announces the arrest of Jacob Keller by Law Enforcement counterparts in Piedras Negas, Coahuila, Mexico. Information was developed by the Task Force that Keller was located just across the border in Piedras Negras. Jacob Keller was charged in San Antonio, Texas with Capital Murder. Keller is accused of fatally shooting two individuals at a Southside Gentlemen's Club.

July 06, 2009 - The Lone Star Fugitive Task Force (LSFTF) arrested Pedro Sanchez after developing information that Sanchez may be hiding out in San Antonio. Pedro Sanchez was charged in San Antonio, Texas with Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon. Sanchez is accused of stabbing the former boyfriend of Sanchez's girlfriend.
