President Barack Hussein Obama wants a Supreme Court Justice with liberal "empathy" for the poor, minorities and gays.

CNN is reporting that President Barack Hussein Obama has narrowed his list of choices to serve on the U.S. Supreme Court. He plans on announcing his pick by the end of May and wants the Justice confirmed quickly by the Senate Judiciary Committee.

According to CNN, the finalists for this life-time appointment to the Supreme Court are: Sonia Sotomayor, Solicitor General Elena Kagan, Homeland Security chief Janet Napolitano, and Michigan Gov. Jennifer Granholm, and California Supreme Court Justice Carlos Moreno.

However, all of this is speculation. No one will really know who the nominee until he or she is announced.

The Supreme Court Justice candidates are being vetted by Obamunist operatives Vice President Joe Biden, Chief of Staff Rahm Emanuel and senior advisor David Axelrod.

Every one of these Supreme Court candidates will be an unmitigated disaster for our nation and for the rule of law. They all fit Obama's judicial philosophy: They all have "empathy" and all reject the idea that judges are to rule on the law, not create it from their "hearts." In short, all of them will be leftist judicial activists who will impose their own notions of "empathy" upon the rest of us.

In a speech against the confirmation of judicial conservative John Roberts to become Chief Justice of the U.S. Supreme Court, Obama said that the "criticial ingredient" in issuing rulings is "supplied by what is in the judge's heart."

In a speech in July 2007 to a Planned Parenthood convention, Obama told his fellow pro-aborts: "... we need somebody who's got the heart-the empathy-to recognize what it's like to be a young teenage mom. The empathy to understand what it's like to be poor or African-American or gay or disabled or old-and that's the criteria by which I'll be selecting my judges. Alright?"

What Obama is describing for his Supreme Court is an individual who is a leftist, who rejects the Constitution and who will create liberal policies rather than interpreting the law.

In fact, one of his picks, Sonia Sotomayor has openly admitted that she approves of judges making policy by their decisions.

Elena Kagan would also be a disaster for the rule of law if she is confirmed to the Supreme Court. Kagan is a long-time liberal who clerked for Judge Abner Mikva of the U.S. Court of Appeals in the DC Circuit. Mikva was a Carter appointee who served as White House counsel for Bill Clinton. Kagan also clerked for Supreme Court Justice Thurgood Marshall and advised Michael Dukakis in 1988. She has also served in the Clinton Administration on domestic policy issues and was involved in crafting pro-homosexual hate crime policies for Clinton. She was formerly Dean at the Harvard Law School and she banned military recruiters.

Kagan is a defender of the homosexual agenda and the abolition of the military's "Don't Ask, Don't Tell" policy on homosexuals serving openly in the military. In May 2007, for example, she attended a Harvard Law School Lambda Second Annual Gay and Lesbian Legal Advocacy Conference on military policy. She'll clearly have "empathy" for the LGBT (lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender) agenda.

Homeland Security Chief Janet Napolitano earned her liberal stripes by being one of the two attorneys representing Anita Hill, who smeared Supreme Court nominee Clarence Thomas during his confirmation hearings. She was awarded by Bill Clinton by being appointed a U.S. Attorney in 1993. She later served as Arizona Attorney General and was Governor of Arizona before being picked by Obama for Homeland Security. Napolitano is a darling of Planned Parenthood. Planned Parenthood set up phone banks for her to assure her election as governor. She will have "empathy" for gays and for the abortion industry.

Michigan Governor Jennifer Granholm is a certified liberal. She is pro-abortion and vetoed a bill that would have banned partial-birth abortion. She was endorsed by the pro-abortion Emily's list. Granholm also favors same-sex domestic partner benefits and opposed school vouchers.

California Supreme Court Justice Carlos Moreno is probably the least well known of all of these candidates, but he's a certified judicial activist who will have the "empathy" and lack of respect for the Constitution that Obama requires in his judicial nominees. According to the liberal Huffington Post, Moreno authored a California Supreme Court ruling that recognized parental relationships involving two lesbians; ruled that businesses had to recognize domestic partnerships as equal to married couples; and voted in favor of gay marriage in 2008. In his lesbian parent ruling, Moreno stated: "We perceive no reason why both parents of a child cannot be women." Moreno ruled that the child conceived through artificial insemination is the legal child of the mother's lesbian partner because these lesbians raised the child before breaking up. Moreno will have the "empathy" for gays, lesbians, bisexuals, and transgenders and will impose his own notions of what is "legal" on the rest of us.

If he is confirmed as Supreme Court Justice, he will become part of what former judge Robert Bork has correctly called "Our Judicial Oligarchy."

TVC's report, "Our Robed Masters," describes the tyranny of liberal judges and the importance of having judicial conservatives on the federal bench. Our nation will be ruled by judges, not by the three branches of government if Obama can shift the Supreme Court to the far left. Obama's picks for the Supreme Court will impact our nation for decades to come.

TAKE ACTION: Contact your two U.S. Senators and ask that they vote NO on any Obama Supreme Court nominee who does not promise to interpret the law rather than impose their notions of liberal "empathy" on the cases that they will decide. Each nominee must openly reject judicial activism or legislating from the bench. If they do not, they must be rejected
