This would not normally be of concern, however, on this occasion the students understood the teacher in the Pueblo County High School to have instructed them to take two minutes  to "come up with a plot for an act of terrorism".

The teacher claims the assignment was actually for them to illustrate an act of terrorism by a foreign government on American soil.  Fischer says, "To ask them to use their creative energies to come up with a plot for an act of terrorism is very ludicrous."

Dr. Dan Lere, the District 70 Superintendent, commented that the students may have misinterpreted the assignment.  Acknowledging that if a student "actually did illustrate an act of terrorism that they might commit, let's say against the school, we've expelled students for that."

Apparently, this disturbing assignment, will not be turned in for a grade since the school district has decided to collect the assignment from the students and destroy them.
