State Rep. Adam Hasner: Supporting "Anti-Muslim Hate Fest"?
. . . While critics have called Hasner a "hatemonger," and CAIR says Hasner is behind the "Anti-Muslim Hate Fest," the groups supporting the conference are generally unapologetic for coming off as discriminatory, arguing that it would be a grave mistake to underestimate the threat of radical Islam.

Asked to confirm or deny his involvement with the conference, a spokesperson for Hasner, Joseph Agostini, said, "Representative Hasner intends to participate if he is able to return home in time for the event. The uncertainty of this happening is because of the heavy Session week scheduled . . . we have floor sessions through Friday and lots on our agenda."

New Plan for Islamic Center in Southwest Lodi Proposed
In his [rejection] letter to the county, Eytchison cited the 2005 terrorist investigation by the FBI and the arrest of Mohammad Adil Khan, former imam of the Lodi Muslim Mosque, who lived in a house on the property and was active in the aborted Farooqia Islamic Center application. He is not related to Taj Khan.

"Like an individual, an organization is judged by its character and by those that they associate with, good and bad," Eytchison said in his letter to the county.

Taj Khan replied in a phone interview Monday that it's the Planning Commission's job to judge a project on the application itself, not the applicant's character.

I'm sticking with Eytchison. Character counts. I don't see a whole heck of a lot of it coming out of the mosques.

Al Shabaab Says [It Is] Behind U.S. Congressman Attack
Somalia's militant Islamist rebel group al Shabaab said on Monday it was behind mortars fired at U.S. congressman Donald Payne as he left the anarchic Horn of Africa nation after a rare visit by a U.S. politician.

"We fired on the airport to target the so-called democratic congressman sent by (U.S. President Barack) Obama," Sheikh Hussein Ali, an al Shabaab spokesman, told Reuters.

These Muslim pirates don't appear to be down for the "friendship and mutual respect" part of Obama's plan, huh?

A Lego Jesus

Christians Outraged by Jesus Made Out of Legos
April 12 (Associated Reuters) - Christians took to the streets all across Scandinavia today to protest the unveiling of a statue of Jesus made entirely out of Lego blocks.Gangs of rioting youths threw paving stones and bottles, broke shop windows, set cars on fire, burned Israeli flags, and chased hapless Jews down side streets.

One angry demonstrator, dressed in an "I (heart) Jesus" T-shirt and wearing a cross around his neck, told reporters that Christianophobia must not be tolerated. "They can't insult our Savior this way! There are 2.1 billion Christians in the world, and we will not sit idly by while our Messiah is dishonored!"

He added, "I believe in free speech, but there are limits."

The Swedish government assured the Christian community that the perpetrators of this cowardly act would be found swiftly and brought to justice.

All right, I admit it. I made up the above news story . . . but the Lego Jesus is real.

This does seem to just dot the i on jihadist behavior, doesn't it?
