Faced with rising violence along the border that is spilling into the United States, Homeland Security Chief Janet Napolitano unveiled a border security plan that doesn't even mention the one thing that has proven to stop drugs, and in fact led to the Mexican drug war: the fence.
Even FAIR, the immigration reform lobbyists, didn't mention the fence when it praised Napolitano's plan.americanpatrol.com
Faced with rising violence along the border that is spilling into the United States, Homeland Security Chief Janet Napolitano unveiled a border security plan that doesn't even mention the one thing that has proven to stop drugs, and in fact led to the Mexican drug war: the fence.
The New York Times mentioned the fence, but only that it was an irritant to Mexico.
Napolitano said "a wall is not the best way" to prevent smuggling of drugs, weapons or people, when, in fact, it is. She won't admit it and the media will not challenge her because that would mean mentioning American Border Patrol's data and they are blacked out.
What we are seeing is a massive snow job - A cover-up is an attempt, whether successful or not, to conceal evidence of wrong-doing, error, incompetence or other embarrassing information.
