In order to educate and articulate conservatism to a new American generation of voters and activists, a representative group of "plugged-in" young professional conservatives in the Washington, DC area have formed the Young Conservatives Coalition (YCC).
"The YCC is an advocacy organization dedicated to leading the next generation of the conservative movement by organizing and mobilizing young professional conservatives across the country," stated YCC President Christopher Malagisi. "It's our turn to step up and start taking a greater leadership role within the movement by harnessing the power and ingenuity of young conservatives, while at the same time dispelling the myth that all voters under the age of 40 are liberals."
There will be several guest speakers at the CPAC event discussing the importance of young conservative activism. Guest speakers include: Grover Norquist, President of Americans for Tax Reform; Charlie Smith, National Chairman of the College Republican National Committee; David Kirby, Executive Director of the America's Future Foundation; Mario Lopez, President of the Hispanic Leadership Fund; and a national officer from the Young Republican National Federation.
The YCC has embarked upon several major projects including creating a conservative legislative platform for 2009, an online video public relations campaign to rebrand conservatism, and facilitate monthly action meetings. These meetings will allow YCC members the opportunity to communicate, network, and strategically coordinate political and legislative activity with each other. General membership is open to all young conservative activists.

In my opinion people are starting to view the democratic party and liberal media in the true light it is. Holding Barack Obama up like some sanctimonious " look we what we did for the black people". In some way's I feel embarra*sed for the man. Watching the news reports of Nancy Pelosi bopping up and down during the Presidential annual address reminded of some highly immature spoiled cheerleader armed with a fake smile, phony disposition and a 12" blade sharp for the next round of back stabbing.
Watching Bill O'reilly yesterday he had segment with a democratic strategist and I had to snicker to myself because he put the screws to this young lady. By the time the segment was done he fully exposed the hypocrisy in this political party. Many of these people though they deny it don't care if they bankrupt the country. As Bill O'reilly pointed out the budget disaster in California from huge social programs and so on it didn't appear to be of any real concern with the guest.
My past opinion was that the republican party was all but finished as a party of any political clout but now I'm not so sure. I think FOX News and internet site's like this are doing a banner job exposing the democratic party for what it truly is, a political organization that for decades have been dragging the country into the abyss.
