Roger Barnett is an American hero. He has fought to protect his property for years. Aiding in the apprehension of more than 10,000 illegal aliens; Without an injury or serious dispute - until now. He is a symbol of American resistance to the invasion of our nation by Mexico. As such, he is now the target of groups such as the Mexican American Legal Defense and Education Fund (MALDEF). (See 16 illegals sue US Citizen for 16 Million Dollars for violating their civil rights?!)
Mario Obledo was the co-founder of MALDEF. A few years ago he said, "California is going to be a Hispanic state and anyone who doesn't like it should leave."
MALDEF was created by the Ford Foundation, as was the National Council of La Raza. The Ford Foundation did this as part of its campaign to eliminate the nation state. The only problem is that Mexico loves its nation state, especially that part of the U.S. they claim is theirs, namely Aztlan. I have been with Roger Barnett on his ranch when he aided in the apprehension of illegal aliens. He was always very careful not to make mistakes that the Mexicans could exploit. As a former Cochise County Sheriff, he knew what not to do. Roger once told me that the then Chief Border Patrol Agent at Tucson, David Aguilar, said that the people who were on his ranch were campers, not illegal aliens. I was with Roger on two occasions when, upon finding large groups of illegal aliens, he called the Border Patrol and said: "I have another group of campers for you." (See this photo of one of the group of "campers" Roger found). David Aguilar now heads up the Border Patrol in Washington, D.C. On July 4, 2000, American Patrol sponsored a rally at the Federal Building in Westwood, California. I hired a charter plane to fly Roger to the event. American Patrol had taken steps to avoid earlier conflicts with counter-demonstrators by securing a parade permit, thus allowing our group to occupy the grounds of the federal building and adjoining sidewalk, free of interference. Counter-demonstrators arrived and they came to our side of Wilshire Blvd. and started screaming at us. I called L.A. County Sheriffs. One Deputy arrived (Hispanic). I told him that we had a permit that required these people to be on the other side of the street. His answer: "I am working to get that permit changed." I saw that we were heading for trouble so I had everyone with a cell phone to dial 911 and ask for police. None arrived. The opposition eventually moved to the other side of the street. When their numbers were large enough, however, they attacked, crossing Wilshire Blvd. and stopping traffic. The only law enforcement around were the Federal Protective Service at the federal building. Seeing what was happening they moved in and confronted the attackers. One officer was left bleeding from his forehead. After the incident the head of the Federal Protect Service for Southern California was relieved of duty for "embarrassing" the government. I say this to hopefully let my fellow Americans understand just how powerful the Mexicans really are. They may yet get Roger and if they do, you are next.
Ask not for whom the bell tolls - it tolls for thee.
