NCPA Expert Says Evidence Continues to Dispel Climate MythsDALLAS (Jan. 13, 2009) - This winter's record low temperatures and snowfall are one more indicator that recent global warming is likely not a result of man-made activities but of the natural ebb and flow of temperatures, according to NCPA Senior Fellow H. Sterling Burnett. "The rhetoric has been that human activities are causing the earth to warm, ice caps to melt, and hurricanes to get more destructive," Burnett said, "but the evidence increasingly shows that is not true." Burnett noted, for example, that International Falls, Minnesota - the coldest location in the continental United States - just today set a new record low temperature of minus 40 degrees and snowfall records have recently been set in 63 U.S. locations. "Contrary to what all the climate models have predicted, over the past decade the global average temperature has fallen to its lowest levels in 30 years," Burnett added. He also noted that after two years of ice-cap melting in the Arctic, an abrupt turnaround occurred in 2008, with ice forming at a record pace. And he said more and more scientists are paying attention to the evidence and rejecting the link between human actions and the recent warming trend. "The wheels are falling off the global-warming bandwagon," Burnett said. "While climate action boosters continue to call for politicians to ignore reality -- even in the face of mounting contrary evidence against catastrophic warming - scientists, the public and politicians are wising up."

Better tell the new global warning czar before she and her nut cases plunge the country further into the abyss.

Please don't use the term consensus. It emboldens the flat earth societies to use the same term. Misery loves company.

These organizations soak taxpayers for billions of dollars yearly. They are among many groups inside the United States that have bought, bullied and castrated for influence in Washington.
Not one forecast model nor prediction has come remotely close to being fact. Most American's that support these programs have " NO " tax dollars vested because they pay none. These groups are no different then feminist groups who's fronts are women's rights but behind the scenes are actually disgruntled women with one hand on the men hatters bible and the other on the abortion machine. They receive government funding and tax breaks therefore create the illusion of unfairness or dire need for action that keeps the gravy train moving down the tracks. Lurking behind climate change around the world our governments that are utilizing and supporting this " hoax " to attack the United States economic superiority. They have brained washed American public schools to the point that a survey of public school graduates in 2007 listed global warming as the #1 concern. The fact they graduated from the worst public education in the industrialized world never even crossed their mind. A global warming czar. How about a graduation rate czar?. How about a violent crime czar?. Maybe a teen pregnancy?, because these problems factually do exist. written by vern goehring, January 16, 2009

Vern goehring,
So what your saying is that the same people who deny smoking causes cancer are the same lot as global warming deniers. Interesting analogy. Would that be the same people that deny abortion is murder and yet pa*s laws that make killing a pregnant woman double homicide?. Which is it?, the fetus a life or not?. If it's not a life how can it be double homicide?, or does a woman decide what's life or not. I mean it's her own body if you ignore the fact that it's really no longer her own body anymore is it. We all know, well those not retarded that smoking will mostly likely cause cancer at some point. We know this by supportive facts. Now, give me an example of just (1) climate phenomenon that is not of natural making. Every year goes by with average hurricane season's after extinction level claims made by people like you. In fact, in the 70's the same lot made claims of global cooling in which you and me would not be a live to even have this conversation. Polar bears are not experiencing difficulties from any climate phenomenon. They're over populating. The ice shelf has been expanding and global temperatures have decreased over the past decade while you people only use selective data that fits your hoax. Global warming supporters are nothing more then modern day apocalyptic evangelists looking for donations. Write comment
