According to the Obama-mania press, Obama is surrounding himself with a bi-partisan cabinet full of intellectual giants with a hundred years in collective expertise unlike any other in human history. What cabinet selections are they looking at?

The selections I'm looking at seem more like a third Clinton administration full of the same old Clinton cronies from the 1990s, plus a few token political hacks that made the election of the most unlikely leader in U.S. history possible. Political debts are often repaid by way of political appointments and Democrats have clearly mastered the art. But what does this mean for the average American?

The Faces of "Change"

Homeland Security - In a post 911 America under ongoing threat of terror attacks, including those of the nuclear, bio or chemical sort, Barack Obama did not choose a Secretary of Homeland Security who has experience in any type of security. He did not choose someone with intelligence gathering, defense, strategic planning, national or even real political expertise. He did not choose a warrior with a life long commitment to defending freedom and liberty against a litany of evil enemies still intent upon bringing America to her knees. Instead, he chose Arizona Democrat Governor Janet Napolitano. Napolitano is a second term governor and former Clinton Administration judicial appointee for the U.S. Attorney's office. She might be a very nice lady, but can someone tell me what she knows about defending a nation against ongoing threat of attack? Can anyone point me to the national security expertise on her résumé?

Secretary of Commerce - Clinton Administration retread and Democrat New Mexico Governor Bill Richardson was named head of the U.S. Commerce Department. Richardson is a career politico with no commerce (business) experience whatsoever on his résumé. He has never invented, manufactured or sold a single product, employed a single individual, met a single corporate payroll or run a lemonade stand much less a company. His corporate experience is limited to a few sweetheart board appointments, the result of his access to Washington power, not his business savvy. Yet he will be the new head of the federal office responsible for "commerce."

Secretary of Education - Hyde Park Democrat crony Arne Duncan has been named the new Secretary of Education. He does have expertise in the field of education. Unfortunately, he has the distinction of overseeing the fifth worst public education system in America today, Chicago. Another close friend of Democrat Chicago Machine Kingpin Mayor Daley, Duncan will have the honor of bringing Chicago education standards to the rest of the nation.

Secretary of Treasury - Senior Fellow at the Council on Foreign Relations, past director of the International Monetary Fund and President of the Federal Reserve Bank since 2003, the time frame in which our current financial implosion was taking form, Timothy F. Geithner has been named Barack Obama's new Secretary of the Treasury. Geithner arranged the bailout of Bear Sterns and AIG, as well as the bankruptcy of Lehman Brothers. He does have experience. You judge his decision making.

Secretary of Energy - Obama's choice for energy secretary is Chinese American Steven Chu, a Nobel Prize winning experimental physicist known for his works in laser cooling. He is also deeply engaged in Al Gore's Global Warming Swindle and a leader in the world wide effort to move a leftist agenda forward with the use of faulty science intended to scar the public into third world lifestyles under threat of man-made climate change.

Secretary of Health and Human Services - Former Democrat congressman and K-Street lobbyist Tom Daschle is an Obama appointment that needs no introduction. A well-known Washington partisan of the far left, Daschle's only experience in the field of health and human services is his time spent as a K-Street lobbyist for law firm Alston & Bird. He was chosen for his deep belief in socialized medicine and a nanny state.

Secretary of Defense - Obama supporters united around their common opposition to Bush's aggressive national defense measures post 911. Although Obama opposed the liberation of Iraq and the troop surge that turned that war around, he has chosen to retain the current Secreatry of Defense Robert Gates, who ushered in those policies. While Gates is indeed qualified for his position, one must wonder about this Obama choice. Since Democrats are not known for their national security or military expertise, Obama may have chosen Gates in the absense of any better alternatives on his side of the aisle. He also may be keeping him around as a fall guy who didn't keep Obama's promise to immediately withdraw from Iraq in defeat.

Last but not least....

Secretary of State -  The sure winner of the 2008 Democrat nomination, who lost her White House bid to the most unqualified individual to ever seek the office of Commander-in-Chief, Hillary Clinton, is Obama's pick for Secretary of State. Aside from the fact that Hillary Clinton has no international conflict management experience on her résumé and is one of the most polarizing public figures on earth, she and her husband have numerous financial and political ties to many foreign governments that have funded their private and public initiatives for years. The Clinton family brings a record level of conflict of interest issues to an office where no such conflicts can be tolerated. But as the State Department has long been an anti-American globalization operation for decades, she and husband Bill could fit right in, especially is Bill runs for Secretary General of the United Nations. Johnny Chung went to prison for his role as bagman for the Chinese government, which bought nuclear weapons technology for a mere $300,000 in Clinton campaign donations. Hillary gets to be Secretary of State for her role in a laundry list of ill-fated international campaign finance fraud.

However, this is the one Obama appointment that I do understand. If I were Barack Obama, I would want Hillary out of the country visiting the most dangerous territories on earth as often as possible too...

Change You Can Believe In?

Whether you can believe in it or not, these are the folks who will indeed bring massive change to America. Believe it or not, the more important question is whether or not American can survive them... This is a terrible time for mis-steps in America.

Obama has now named 17 of his 18 cabinet members and all but two are hard-left Democrats. Many of them are from the corrupt Chicago Machine, few with any experience in their appointed posts and all of them with a history of putting global interests ahead of American interests.

Though Obama continues to blabber on about the need for bi-partisanship and unity, his cabinet is clearly one of an extreme partisan bent. We can expect his judicial appointments and policy moves to be the same.

I find the incoming administration to be entirely frightening. However, I will join my fellow Americans in hoping that somehow, some way, through the grace of God, these people will stumble into making the right moves for the future of my country despite themselves.

Blind faith is for complete fools and unlike the propaganda machine of the modern American press; I won't call things something they are not just the keep the average American voter baffled by B.S.

But I have no choice but to hope... and neither do you now!
