ICE Arrests 71 in Florida

November 26, 2008 (Miami, Fla.) - ICE announced that a five-day targeted fugitive enforcement operation in Miami, Broward, Palm Beach, Orlando, and Tampa areas netted 71 fugitive aliens and immigration violators. ICE officers arrested 60 immigration fugitives who ignored lawful orders of removal and went into hiding and 11 other immigration violators.

Of the 71 arrested, 18 had criminal histories that spanned from trafficking cocaine, prostitution, weapons offenses, marijuana possession, DUI, resisting arrest, theft, burglary, narcotics possession and distribution and battery. More at ICE.gov

ICE Team Arrests 104 Illegal Aliens in Ga. and Carolinas

November 25, 2008 (Charlotte, N.C.) - ICE announced that a five-day targeted fugitive operation in the Carolinas and Georgia netted 104 fugitive aliens and immigration violators. Among those arrested were 94 fugitives who ignored lawful orders of removal and went into hiding and 10 other immigration violators. Of the 104 arrested, 23 had prior criminal convictions for crimes including drug possession, stolen goods possession and indecent liberties with a child. More at ICE.gov

ICE Agents Arrest 11 Illegal Alien Gang Members

November 20, 2008 (Kenosha, Wis.) - ICE agents, in close partnership with local law enforcement officers, arrested 11 illegal alien gang members from Mexico. The multi-agency operation targeted foreign-born members and associates of the Sureños street gang. More at ICE.gov

ICE, Local Partners Arrest 32 Gang Members

November 18, 2008 (Newark, N.J.) - ICE agents working with several New Jersey law enforcement agencies arrested 32 gang members and associates. Twelve of those arrested are violent gang members from Mexico, some with criminal records which include aggravated assault, robbery and domestic violence. All 32 individuals have been charged with administrative immigration violations. More at ICE.gov

ICE Team Arrests 111 in Florida

November 7, 2008 (Miami) - More than 110 immigration fugitives and immigration violators were arrested following a five-day targeted enforcement action by ICE's Miami fugitive operations teams that identified fugitives residing in Miami, Broward, Palm Beach, Orlando, and Tampa areas. ICE deportation officers and immigration enforcement agents arrested 96 immigration fugitives and 15 immigration violators. Twenty of those arrested had criminal histories that spanned from cocaine trafficking, prostitution, human rights violations, weapons offenses, marijuana possession, DUI, resisting arrest, theft, burglary, battery, narcotics possession and distribution. Coast Guard Repatriates 70 Dominicans

November 5, 2008 (San Juan, Puerto Rico) - The crew of Coast Guard Cutter Key Largo repatriated 70 Dominican migrants to La Romana, Dominican Republic, while 20 others were detained for prosecution following an at-sea interdiction by Coast Guard law enforcement authorities. More at USCG.mil

Coast Guard Interdicts, Repatriates 24 Cuban migrants

November 4, 2008 (Miami) - The crew of the Coast Guard Cutter Ocracoke repatriated 24 Cuban migrants Tuesday to Bahia de Cabañas, Cuba, from two seperate interdictions at sea within the past 11 days. More at USCG.mil
