Crafty Smugglers Caught Using Phony Commercial Van to Smuggle Aliens

Tucson, Ariz. - Tucson, Ariz. Border Patrol agents seized a vehicle Tuesday replicating a Budweiser delivery van smuggling 13 illegal aliens near Three Points, Ariz. Border Patrol agents assigned to the Tucson Station stopped a suspicious Budweiser delivery van around 9 a.m. traveling northbound from the border. Inside the van agents discovered 13 illegal aliens of which eight were citizens of China, and the other five were citizens of Mexico. All occupants were arrested and transported to the Tucson Border Patrol station for processing.

Prosecution is being sought against the driver for the violation of alien smuggling.

Defending our borders against terrorists, illegal narcotics, and illegal aliens is priority one for the Border Patrol. Criminal elements can be creative and persistent in their efforts to profit from illegal activity.
