Its all happening to fulfill Biblical prophecy. You really didn't really believe all of these world events were unfolding on their own accord did you? This is the drama of all time with the Lord Jesus Christ as the keynote speaker.

That ye may be mindful of the words which were spoken before by the holy prophets, and of the commandment of us the apostles of the Lord and Saviour:

Knowing this first, that there shall come in the last days scoffers, walking after their own lusts,

Now, I support a ballistic missile defense, and research and development out of general principle of national self-defense. But at about 1:35 into the piece, the speaker says that one day the U.S. is going to want to "go forth" in the world and be faced with nuclear missiles pointed at us.

As much as I favor nuclear defense, I oppose "going forth" in the world, if by that we mean foreign intervention, hegemony, or imperialism. It is not the purpose of the U.S. government to defend foreign sharia states like Saudi Arabia.

Teddy Roosevelt said walk softly and carry a big stick. I like the big stick party, but I also like the walk softly part. Getting involved in foreign entanglements is not walking softly.

The Founders were students of history and distrusted large standing armies because of, amongst other things, war and imperialism. They understood that the Roman Republic fell after victory in an imperialistic war.

The urge to go to war has come primarily from the left throughout U.S. history, Wilson, FDR, Truman, Kennedy and Johnson. It is up to the right to keep us out of war. Unfortunately, we have not done our duty.

The American people are a peace-loving people and will not adopt a missile defense so we can "go forth" in the world. If it is sold on that basis, it will be rejected. However, if it is sold as just plain good common sense, then it stands a much better chance.
